My review will be a bit lengthy so i appreciate your patience, and thank you for reading, i aplogize for any inconvenience caused.First of all I'm just a regular Sony Walkman user, using Sony Walkman for almost 2 decade now.Pros of the device1. Streaming feature : my last walkman was Sony NW-A55 i wanted a streaming walkman with hi-res feature and i skipped NW A-107 for it's horrible battery life, so till now i was using an old small smartphone as a walkman and very happy to have this A-307.2. Sound Quality : i am not qualified enough to review in depth about the sound quality but the sound quality is awesome, so far the best i have heard, I'm using the same Sony - WF-1000XM4 hi res bluetooth earphones with my old NW-A55, old Xiaomi smartphone, and with this walkman sound quality is definitely top notch, streaming sound quality is also significantly better than smartphones.3. Small form factor : This walkman is small and slim and easily fits every pockets even jeans (which have small pockets) so it's very convenient.4. USB C and SDcard support : this little dude have a usb c port and can even read USB drives when connected, so i can directly copy paste data from my USB drive directly to the SDcard, and the SDcard support is upto 1GB i think5. Bluetooth 5.0 : Better connectivity and battery consumptionCons of this device1. Battery Life : Battery life is not very good, not very bad either but it was less than what was expected and advertised, definitely not 36 hours, but if you disable all the unnecessary apps it gives a good back-up, i found it quite okay after disabling all the unnecessary apps (check the pics for the apps i have enabled).In airplane mode the device gives even more back-up, so when in move, better download music and listen, or take a power bank.edit - March 12 - I have disabled further apps in the walkman (updated app list picture in the comment), including google, so now the search bar is also not seen in the home screen, and now battery back up is even better !##Now i get a battery life of around 14-16 hours with offline music via bluetooth and 10-12 hours via wi-fi streaming with bluetooth earphones2. Wi-Fi issues : For some reason this device has issues with wi-fi 2.4 ghz but have no issues with wi-fi 5 ghz, i'm assuming since bluetooth also uses the same 2.4-2.48 ghz range so this device have issues when using bluetooth earphones + 2.4 ghz wi-fi, i encountered such issues with other smartphones and ipad as well, so not particularly worried about this.3. Price : I bought the 64GB version and i could say it's really pricey, it should not be this much.※Not a con of this device but album arts in youtube music (not sure about spotify, did not use) shows smaller than the album art in walkman app, may be because of the smaller screen when compared to smartphones these days, so people like me who really care about album arts will get a bit bothered by it.Overall i'd say a very good device for all the walkman lovers, it serves the purpose and is very good for a lot of target audience.

今まで音楽は、スマホ（iPhone)で聞いていたのですが、LDACハイレゾが聴ける端末が欲しくて購入しました。やはりスマホでは、普通のながし音しか聞き取れませんが、音楽専用機は音質がクリアで低域から高音まで聞き取れる感じがします。イヤホンは、ワイヤレスでSONY製のハイレゾ対応を使用しています。本体もかなり小さく気に入っています。長く使って行きたいと思っています。

私はiPhoneとMacのユーザーで、LDACを使える端末が欲しくて、購入しました。最初、使ってみた感じは、音質優先で聴くとぶつぶつ途切れるし、再起動も手間だな、という評価4.0くらいの印象でした。しばらく、SHUREなどの有線で楽しんでみました（再起動の設定は、自動ではなくて、手動に切り替えています）。私は体が弱くて、仕事の合間にお布団で休むが多く、このサイズで気軽に音楽を楽しめるのは素晴らしいな、と間違いなく高評価に値する製品に感じてきました。有線（3.5mmでも充分楽しめる！）をしばらく使って分かったのが、AirPodsみたいにストレスフリーに接続が安定するわけではなく、基本的にストリーミング中は放っておいた方がいい、ということでした。このWALKMANを買ってしばらくした後に、LDACを接続優先にして、なるべく操作しないように聴いてみたところ、TechnicsのAZ100が、Apple Musicですばらしい音楽体験をさせてくれました！ ようやくこの製品を買った当初の目的の、LDACを楽しむという夢を叶えることができました。今も使っています。評価は5.0です。

箱に傷などなく、よい状態で届きました。開封してみると、ウォークマンとUSB-Cのキャップが入ってました。最近のは説明書、保証書、充電コードはないのですね。SONY への登録する方法がいまいち分からずたどり着けないのは困ったものです。Android の登録で勝手にSONY へ登録されるのか？謎なのか情弱なのか？

ZX-300からの買い替えで もう6.7年は使ってますが 特に 不具合 不都合はないです が いかんせんコーデックが古いです LDAC/96kHz/24bitを 使ってみたくての 新ウォ―クマンへの挑戦です。WF-1000XM5の実力やいかに だいいち印象は「ちぃっちゃ!？」です。これでいい音 聴けるんかあ... さすがに１０万出すのはきついから これでいいか って感じです。 しばらく使ってみます。

I bought the NW-a306 from Amazon JP because I read that the Asian model had better energy output for IEMs earphones and could drive heavier headphones than the American/European version. I was gladly pleased to see that this was the case for me with this unit.I know that I bought an used item “in good condition”, but I received a pristine product with hardly any markings of having been used before. I’m super glad I bought this from this seller for this reason.I also bought a couple of screen protectors, and I was happily surprised to see that the seller also included a free case for the unit. The case it’s of soft materials and it includes the Sony Walkman Logo, it’s stunning.The items were very well packed (not in the original packaging since it was a used product), but on a sealed cardboard box. The packaging included the original charging cable (very neatly organized and tucked away), the Japanese inlay User Guide and a rubber plug for the usb-c port.Shipping was super fast. It took only 5 days for it to get to Chile.Excellent experience altogether. I’m ecstatic for my new DAP and I definitely will be buying from Amazon JP again.
