Better than the alternatives
Bittersweet. Looks great on the counter and it works. But it’s definitely janky. Joints are loose and it’s impossible to tighten. Not typical hardware. Also, the perch that you put the fruit on is so frustrating to get lined up. Also, requires some muscle. My wife is in great shape - works out 5 days a week… she make me do it because she can’t pull the lever down enough to get all the juice out of an orange

Garbage. Do not buy.
Don’t be fooled by their glammed up pics, this thing is a mess in person. First off, it can’t accommodate a grapefruit or an orange bc the handle is fixed to only go back so far. Limes and small lemons only. 🤷🏻♀️ Second, it’s laughably unstable. You have to brace it with your free hand or else it topples over when the handle is pressed down. Third, made of cheap aluminum. It should be heavy stainless - it’s not. Poor assembly too. I’m returning mine, I want my money back.

Love this piece for any kitchen or bar
This is a high-quality item very heavy. I love just the look of it, but it is completely functional.

Well made
This juicer really well made and looks great. It really gets the juice out if you press hard. The only problem when you press hard it wants to tip forward so you need to hold your other hand on the back side. It might be easier if it were mounted to the surface. It would be nice if there was an attachment to do larger fruit like grapefruit or even larger oranges. As it is it is primarily for lemons and small oranges.

Unbalanced and lightweight
The product does not stand up to its potential .. if they used a heavier stainless steel base. Also is unbalanced as to once you go for the full squeeze it wants to topple over. It looks nice on the counter as decoration but functionally poor … been in the lemon squeezing biz for 18 years and I brought for personal use at home it it failed

Artisan must mean crooked
Let me start by saying that this product actually works despite the numerous problems in its construction. I happen to be a welder and mechanic, which is a good thing, because this juicer needed a LOT of work:1) The main upright leaned to one side by twelve degrees (I measured).2) The base wobbled (I was able to shave down one of the rubber feet to correct this).3) There were metal burrs inside the squeezing strainer that could have detached and wound up in someone’s drink (I ground and polished the interior of the strainer).4) I washed the fruit-contacting pieces in the dishwasher and they came out covered with a greasy dark gray film. Easy enough to hand wash them, but it would have been nice to be warned. Bar Keeper’s Friend and a good scrubbing fixed the problem. After taking the unit apart, spending considerable time with files and emory cloth to straighten the main shaft, and introducing nylon washers to take the slop out if the lever mechanism, it finally works as it should. I guess I should have returned it, but I really like the overall aesthetic of the squeezer, and now I have far too much time invested to give it up.“Artisan” should mean “artfully made by hand.” It should never mean “sloppy and poorly made.”

Beautiful to look at and easy to use!
I had read all the reviews, and despite some negative ones, I decided to give it a try, knowing I could easily return it with Amazon’s policy.I love it!It’s beautiful to look at, it’s super easy to use and to clean.I’ve been using it for several weeks now - every single morning.3 oranges produce a decent sized small glass of juice - as shown in my picture.Costco oranges are a little too big, but you can still use them.I’ve found that the regular bag of grocery store ones work best.I’ll be honest - I bought this juicer because of the way it looks. But it has not disappointed me at all.And that’s why I’m writing the review!
