Good quality - used to display records
Love this and it's perfect for what I wanted it for - to use as a record stand/cover stand when playing a record. It's really good quality, looks good and holds an album cover well as the back has height so the album isn't at risk of bending. Added benefit is that it folds completely flat when not in use and so slides in the cupboard/drawer really well. Not a bad price either. Very happy with it.

Awesome little stand!
Solved my very first-world problem of attempting to stand a cookbook up between the toaster and the wall in order to keep it open, haha. I also love that it folds up to about the size of a cookbook itself - meaning you can just slot it away with the rest of your cookbooks once you've finished using it. Simple, practical, easy-to-use and looks great. A stellar purchase for the kitchen!

Attractive, sturdy book stand
Nicely made stand and seems sturdy. The bamboo colour is lovely. It's a bit heavier than I expected but hopefully that means it's strong and will last. Folds completely flat for storage. The stand holds pages up to 2.5cm so will not be good for any really thick recipe books. (Although you may find that if it is placed at the least steep angle, a ticket book can rest on the stand without the clips.)One thing to point out is that if you're buying as a gift, be aware that it arrives in packaging making it obvious what is inside!

Looks promising
Looks promising but it's a Christmas present so a little too early to know yet how it will stand up to the job of holding cookery books etc.

Very stable
I bought this stand after I saw someone with one just like this.Holds my iPad perfectly, stable just what I wanted doesn’t flop down like the iPad case can do, it was heavier than expected which is pro. Also used it for my phone, versatile for a number of items and fold up flat when not required.

Exactly what I was looking for
I bought this because I take a lot of notes on my laptop for work, and finally got sick of trying to hold pages down with my phone and other books. The stand is perfect for me. It's the right size for the books, and the little pegs work very well to hold the pages in place. Having the books on a stand as opposed to flat on the desk helps with neck/shoulder strain. It also looks nice on the desk and is well worth the price.

Great help - for reading hardback books!
My husband bought this wooden book stand as I am unable to hold hardback books. It has 3 levels of "slant" which is useful. It is heavy and sturdy without being ugly. A god send when it is placed on a table top; lays flat with the book when I want to put the book to one side. Currently reading a book with 900 plus pages and it does not tip or tilt. Highly recommend. Excellent value.

Robust, simple
I’ve tried a few book rests over the years. This is the best. It’s lightweight but robust, it folds flat and opens at various useful angles. Best of all for me, the base is the same width as the stand, so it’s not in danger of overbalancing when it’s on the arm of an armchair.
