Stylish and Practical – Perfect Upgrade for My Mom!
I bought this pressure cooker as a gift for my mom since her old one was outdated and way too small. She absolutely loves it! Not only does it have a sleek, stylish design that looks great in the kitchen, but it’s also much larger and more efficient than her previous one.The cooking times are quick, and it does an amazing job at making everything from stews to roasts. It’s easy to use and clean, and my mom has been experimenting with new recipes she couldn't do with her old cooker.Overall, it’s the perfect upgrade — both in terms of functionality and style. Highly recommend this if you’re looking to gift someone a practical yet chic addition to their kitchen!

great pan
Love this pan! You can brown and slow cook in the same pan! Amazing. Was a bit of a learning curve getting used to operating it but after that it’s a piece of cake to use and cleans so easily

Works well, super easy to clean
We got one of these to replace an instant pot that, while more versatile, didn’t work very well as just a slow cooker. While the Instant Pot could also function as a pressure cooker, its low heat setting wasn’t adequate for getting good results as a slow cooker. This one is just a dedicated slow cooker that has worked great for things like soups, stews, chilis, etc. And it has a higher heat function available to braise the meat or vegetables in the same pot before adding the stock and the rest of the ingredients. This is super convenient and makes it much more of a one-pot solution than some of the cheaper options. It has some lengthy timed heat options, is simple and easy to use, looks and feels great with high perceived quality, and everything has come out really well in it so far.And as you’d expect from Greenpan, the highlight of this product is the ceramic crock pot itself. It’s removable for super easy cleaning, and it acts as non stick as any Teflon coating. I think it may be dishwasher safe, though we hand wash this, since it’s so easy and quick to do so. I don’t know if you can get just the crock replaced if it’s broken or worn, so it would be wise to be gentle with it to ensure a long usable life.Overall, this thing is big and heavy, but it’s been great. Worth the extra dough over the cheap budget ones, IMHO. AAA+++

A beautiful appliance
I’m in my 60s, so I’ve owned my share of slow cookers—mostly the ubiquitous OG Crock Pot brand. They did the job, but essentially required searing & prepping separately before placing contents into the appliance. Often I felt the food was mostly steamed and kind of insipid looking upon removal, unless it was a soup dish. Additionally, I never cared much for the look of them.I’ve been watching and following for a while now the new, more versatile entries into the market. I’ve especially been waiting for a ceramic non-stick surface slow cooker with good reviews. Another selling point is that this is a beautiful appliance that fits in well with a modern, contemporary kitchen. It was also quite important to me that this slow cooker has a sear feature, which means I no longer need to perform that function in a separate skillet that I then need to wash. I like that it has a “steam” function if I choose to do so.The negatives: As others have mentioned, it doesn’t have a good lid seal, which any slow cooker really should have. I’ve not found that it has had a deal breaker effect, but if Green Pan is paying attention, they truly should upgrade this. It does have a lid rest on the rear, so that was an acceptable tradeoff in my tiny kitchen, although that shouldn’t need to be the choice. As others have mentioned, the control labels on the front “disappear” on the shiny chrome controls plate, especially in bright lighting, and are 100% impossible to see/read. Still not a deal breaker for me, though, but it would behoove Green Pan to address this. For solely this reason I’m subtracting 1 ⭐️

Omg love at first use.
I came upon this while searching for a new slow cooker because the insert for my last one cracked big time. I thought about it for a couple days and I am so happy that I purchased this baby approved by my husband. I got the black and gold one and it's so pretty. So easy to clean. It's dishwasher safe but I don't even need to use the dishwasher to clean it. The lid is just as easy to clean. All by hand. It's lightweight so I can carry it in one hand when empty.Leftovers slide right out into my caraway storage. Nothing sticks to this gem of an appliance. It beeps 3 times when cooktime is finished and then switches to warm. My last one was a manual so it didn't do that.Don't have to worry about it cracking like the inserts do for most of the others. So easy to set the temp and time then wait for the beeps when done.Highly recommend. Go buy it right now and you will not regret it.

Nice Features but Totally Impractical
Sounded great, looked good on paper BUT......Tried this product one day after delivery. Two cups of lentils plus six cups of nearly boiling water (208 Degrees F) were started on the HI setting in Slow Cook mode. Took full a 8 hours to be (barely) cooked!!! The thermostat may be defective or the product was designed to be completely impractical - either way, the item was promptly returned!

Fabulous Crock Pot!
High quality crock pot that is the perfect size. The inner pot is not too heavy and the rubber handles make it easy to lift when adding food or cleaning. The controls are simple to use and there are plenty of options. Not only is it a great appliance, it looks fabulous, too! Would highly recommend. It's worth the money!

Good looking, smaller than crock
The black and gold one is chic. I used it to make chicken stock and interesting it actually browned the chicken (which was covered with water). I liked that result and the chicken meat itself was outstanding as a result. The capacity is less than my original crock pot but, alas, I went with something that I hope wouldn’t crack and also doesn’t have PFAs and other crazy chemicals destined to kill us unwittingly (well, for those of us who learn about them later.)
