Does not fill like it’s supposed to

Followed the moderately vague instructions and I also own several butane tools. This torch is very hard to fill and butane sprays out during the process creating a lot of waste. I tried JoChef branded fuel and other brands to see if the nozzle is different enough to fill without it spraying all over. I was able to fill it to the “full” line but wasted almost a whole bottle. Other than that, it works very well.. Operationally, it would be better to be on or off with the ignition trigger but not a deal breaker.Update:Customer service contacted me and sent me a replacement and it works great and is much easier to fill.Great torch !

The media could not be loaded. I got this to replace a creme brûlée torch that went bad. The size on this one feels to be between a small creme brûlée torch and a professional kitchen torch. I do like the red colour, the ease of use and how well the flame adjusts. So far have used it mostly for searing salmon for salmon tataki and Kewpie mayo for salmon Oshizushi. I use it mostly 2x a week so I’ll see how it holds up over time.

I like the torch. Great size, easy to use, looks nice, works well. I just have an issue refilling it. The butane spits everywhere and I cant get the torch more than a quarter full. I like this torch a lot so this refilling flaw is a real disappointment!

Gorgeous little torch! It works like a charm on my crème brûlée. Not only did I get the torch but I got the 2 butanes as well.

Wasted a lot of propane while filling it. Not very efficient. Once I filled it, it appears to work well. Will be using it to light my fireplace so I will have to wait and see if it is a quality item. Don’t usually start burning wood until December.

I used it on my grill. Super simple to use. I bought the refill and it's easy to fill.

It is a nice, easy to use torch, it stays on as long as a dial is turned, which makes it very convenient for cooking- you don't have to hold down the trigger. Time will tell how long this torch will last, but it seems well built
