Inexpensive and light
Wife and I travel a lot by bike. Carrying everything with us, we have to make things light as possible. The monopod does what it is suppose to do. It is light, collapses small and can support my mirrorless Panasonic camera mounted on a gimbal and extend really tall. I am 6feet 2inches and it gets things close to eye level. Nice!No complaints!

STABILITY
Very well made. No leg wobble when fully extendedI've not had any problems with the locking levers. Their fineOnly one small gripe it would have been nice if a bag had been supplied

Bought as binocular support
Bought this for a camera and binoculars pod, I bought an another one for use as a walking stick too , that one had twist round locks and is slightly different to this one. These are great value and come with a few extra features

Looks good at first sight
I am more likely to use this as a monopod for photography rather than a walking aid, but obviously it could be used in either way during a walking trip. I like that it's continuously and quickly adjustable in length between 54cm and 171cm, and can fairly easily be packed away when not in use, what with its handy but perhaps rather superfluous carrying case (I am more likely to carry it in a rucksack). Neat also to have a retractable 'foot' that can be turned to expose a spike for extra grip. It feels pretty sturdy and well-made, but as other reviewers have said, it remains to be seen just how sturdy it will be over a lot of use. We'll see how it goes...

Awesome monopod for the price
A very good and robust monopod. It is made of aluminium, pretty light and it folds quite small, enough to fit into a regular bag. What i really like about it is the foam grip, and height, which make it perfectly useable as a walking stick, saving you a space in the bag. There is a spike at the bottom, which can be retracted, and a normal 3/4 screw at the top.Overall a very reasonably priced, yet high quality monopod. Recommended.

Light, simple & OK for the money
Note that if you want to shoot in Portrait mode you will need a threaded hole to the side of your camera, this could be provided by an "L Bracket" for example.

Comfort
It had the screw visible with no cover so not too good when walking under some circumstances therefore returned for a refund
