Good system and after sales-service
A good system at a competitive price, with an easy-to-use app for viewing and playback. The best part is the after-sales service. They responded quickly by email and sent a free replacement for a faulty camera.

SANSCO 8 CAMERA CCTV STSTEM
I installed a SANSCO CCTV system in our local community club, We have been very pleased with the performance of this system and following a burglary were able to send footage of the perpetrators to the police which resulted in a successful prosecution. SANSCO have been very helpful in resolving technical issues with the product.

Good for the price, but has its flaws.
Giving this 4 stars as it has its flaws, but is good value for money. I'll outline the reasons below:Occasionally the system will reboot itself and be offline for 50 seconds. It's not the scheduled reboot and usually happens when I'm using remote playback from the PC app, so is likely a crash. The system does sound the alarm upon reboot to say there was a problem though, so that's good. The apps also have terrible spelling and grammar and are poorly translated. Don't bother with their suggested phone app, use vMEyeSuper or similar. With all the above said, the bullet style camera picture quality is sufficient to pick out a car registration at 20 meters distance during the day, and 10 meters with night vision. The dome cameras have a noticeably lower quality picture, probably from the wider angle/fisheye lens so the domed ones are definitely better suited for indoor or above door installations.Setting up the device will require patience and some technical knowledge, especially for remote access and email notifications. Setting up the alarms and motion sensing areas is relatively straight forward, though some menus aren't intuitive and it took me a good few weeks of occasional digging to find where the video blind/blanking section is.You can schedule times for when the alarm sounds, so it doesn't wake you at night, however this schedule is for ALL settings, for alarm sound, logging, emailing. Now this might be me missing a setting somewhere, but I cannot tell it to stop sounding the alarm during night hours, but still make logs and emails, it will simply turn all of it off if outside the schedule. On the subject of motion sensing, it seems way too sensitive during the night. I will get maybe one or two false alarms during the day, but at night the flies love the night vision infrared LEDs and will buzz around and trigger the alarm every few seconds. I wish I could schedule alarm sensitivity to be a little less sensitive at night. On the infrared LEDs, they do glow a faint dark red at night, making the cameras visible to those that would pay attention. There are arguments for and against this though, Pro: it shows it's not fake, Con: it reveals where they are and could make them a target for vandalism or a planned route of attack.Hard drive space: We chose the 2TB drive because we plan to have all 8 cameras record. At the moment though we only have 5 cameras and are getting just a little less than 2 weeks of video history, so I can't recommend anything less than 2TB space for more than 4 cameras if you want sufficient backdated video storage.Cable quality is poor and they are fragile. We managed to damage one just feeding it through a brick hole and up the cavity and it made the picture drop out.Despite all the above flaws, the unit is good value for money for home use. I would not recommend it for commercial use due to its unreliability and low resolution. A professionally installed 4k system would be better suited for that.

Excellent customer service alongside great product!
I am extremely pleased with the SANSCO 8 Channel 5MP CCTV DVR Camera System. The product not only meets but exceeds my expectations in several ways.First and foremost, the camera quality is outstanding. The (8) 2MP Bullet Dome Cameras provide clear and crisp images, ensuring that every detail is captured. Whether it's day or night, the camera's performance remains top-notch, thanks to its excellent low-light capabilities. I feel much more secure knowing I have such high-quality surveillance. The 3TB Hard Drive is a significant bonus. It offers ample storage space for continuous 24/7 recording. I don't have to worry about running out of space or constantly deleting footage to make room for new recordings. This feature provides peace of mind, especially when I'm away from home for extended periods. The installation process was straightforward, and the included instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cameras are designed for wall or ceiling mounting and are IP66 vandalproof, which adds an extra layer of security to protect them from tampering or harsh weather conditions. One of the standout features for me is the mobile viewing capability. Being able to check the live feed and recorded footage remotely on my mobile device is incredibly convenient. Additionally, the motion-activated push alerts and email notifications ensure that I'm immediately aware of any suspicious activity around my property. Finally, I must commend the company's customer support. They've been responsive and helpful whenever I've had questions or needed assistance, which has made my experience even more positive. Their email is support@isansco.com if anyone should need it.In summary, the SANSCO 8 Channel 5MP CCTV DVR Camera System with (8) 2MP Bullet Dome Cameras and a 3TB Hard Drive is an exceptional product. It offers high-quality surveillance, ample storage, ease of use, and excellent customer support. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and robust security system.
