For over 3 months the various birds, pigeons, starlings, black birds, mockers, cat birds, chickadee, 2 different kind of sparrows they were all crashing, banging their heads, pecking, hanging on while spreading tail and wings fluttering against my bedroom window starting between 6: to 6:30 till 10: to 10:30 with the larger birds coming back around 4:30 to 6: - Well over the weekend my daughter-in-law helped and we strung these making for strings to hang on the window and concerned the wind would rattle them we decided to hang them inside between the blinds and the window - Amazing, Voila, starling came tapped once and flew away, 2 sparrows came each tapped twice and flew away and no other bird came nor have any of the birds come anywhere near the window nor the roof above - finally can sleep in the morning past 6: - if there were 10 stars there would not be enough - these disks are great... and cheap for the relief they provide...

Recently, with spring, we have been having bird issues. I have had good success with hanging reflective items in the past.The came quick and well packaging. I opened them up and hung them with the provided hooks in the places outside around the house where I would like to deter birds from living and have families there. They are lightweight which is a pro and con. I made sure to twist the hooks to prevent them from blowing away. It helps if the sun can reflect off them to deter the birds.

This are silver flat disk, that has to be strung together before using.

I bought these bird deterrents hoping to keep my patio fan a bird-free zone. The doves, however, saw them as modern art and an open invitation to move in. It’s like I put up a “Now Leasing” sign and they signed a 12-month contract. I now have a very judgmental tenant who coos disapproval every time I turn on the fan. 0 stars for deterrence, 5 stars if you’re trying to start an Airbnb for birds.

These things are great. Way better than those twisty hanging things. I used the twisty things for two years with mild success. Then my cabin was attacked by 20 turkey vultures. Yes the twisty things were hanging. Obviously didn’t work. I put up these discs side by side with the twisty. The move 10 x better. Enough said!!

Good quality, but don't recommend using on your house structure. Placed these on the outer edge of our exterior window frames. They hit the house with slight wind, and are noisy. They also cause a disco effect inside the house in the mornings. I mean, our entire main floor looks like a dance party from the sun reflecting off the mirrors and then moving about in the wind (guessing my neighbors have the same problem now). Not sure if they detract birds either (maybe only birds who don't like to dance) - I think they would need to be placed directly in the center of a window for optimal detraction, but that would be impractical from the noise alone. Might be great in a tree?

The items were packaged nicely and were very easy to assemble. I placed them in my back yard and they do work to scare birds aware during the day when the sun in out. I have placed them on my deck as well and so far have seen a reduction in the amount of poop droppings.

these deflectors are working great so far, easy to put together, i didn't assemble them , the hubby did but it looked easy! I hang them near my front door. It Was quite comical when unbeknownst to us, birds were nesting in my door wreath and as we opened our door and birds...
