The display is bright and clean. It measure all the required metrics for exercises.
This watch was a perfect fit for my wrist. The display is bright and easy to read. I like the font size for the messages and in general great looking watch faces.I use the watch just for cardio training and running and it measure the require metrics to know how I perform with my training.I happy with it

My Smart Watch
Excellent battery life, great Bluetooth range since I keep my cellular ring tone off, I get every incoming call, and probably my favorite since I hardly ever take off is very impact resistant the raised screen guard has kept the screen scratch free, I work on my cars and outside my other smart watch screens have been scratched unfortunately…

Pretty good, but could've been great
I like a lot of the features of this watch, but a few things annoy me that keep me from giving it 5 stars. First, the notification text is smaller and harder to read than other screens (PLEASE FIX THIS ACCESSIBILTY ISSUE!). Even the settings are more legible than the notifications, which is a shame. Also, the battery life isn't as great as advertised. I don't mind charging this watch every week, but it's not 14 days that's for sure (I'm using a pretty simple Face too). Finally, the watch band is pretty cheap. I don't think it will break soon but it's thin and definitely kind of cheaply made, not rugged like you would expect of an active smart watch.Things I love - find my phone, heart rate, vibration, steps meter on some watch faces, the wake up when you check your watch is pretty good, and the amount of supported notification apps suits my needs.

Battery Champion! Good Tracking Overall
This fitness watch is a battery champion, and it is an understatement. With light exercise, 24-hour blood oxygen/heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking, I have been getting around 17 days with ~60% battery usage and this is insane. Since I have bought this watch (45 days ago), I have charged it only 3 times and that too because I only charged it to ~80% each time.I have seen tons of reviews online and how folks have performed scientific studies to measure the accuracy of the sensors but my take on is that measurements are darn close if not perfect. I compared the readings with pulse oximeter that we bought during Covid era, and the heart rate and saturations measurements match up perfectly. GPS accuracy is also good. Locks quickly and tracks your walk/runs near perfectly. Honestly, I am not the one who is bothered by GPS tracking missing by couple meters. I use it for my reference for later analysis only.Cannot comment on Sleep tracking, every company has their own sleep algorithm to identify sleep quality, but I feel sleep tracking is good on this device. It also records nap times which almost all other watches do not do.A few things I do miss is NFC payment, limited reply option on messaging services and flight of stairs tracking. I already knew that this watch does not have NFC feature and I have not missed it much because I always have phone or wallet with me, and believe me tapping a physical card is way faster than pushing a button then entering unlock code and then completing the transaction within 60s (that's how my galaxy active2 worked) but I guess it is FOMO of not having this feature that I might need it someday in emergency.Flight of stairs is another thing that I do not understand. When I climb stairs, I can see change in barometer readings, but it just does not record or records incorrectly. There is 9 feet difference in barometer when I climb stairs up, but it just does not increment the stairs card accordingly which is very strange. I believe it has got to do with changing weather. I hope this algorithm can also be improved in future software release but I not sure if this watch would get Zepp OS 3, so chances are slimI hope Amazfit can at least add a keyboard to reply to message from watch directly and have good support for emojis and font in future release.Overall, I feel it is a solid fitness watch for most people who are involved in casual training and workout and even for Fitness enthusiast who want to use this watch as a companion for training as this watch also supports external accessory that can record exact biometrics readings.

Great hardware but terrible functionality
I have purchased 4 different Amazfit watches over the last 5 years. The first was the original GTR. Loved it and it worked great. Sleep tracking and fitness info was always consistent. I then moved to the GTR2 and liked the improved design. It worked great for about a year and then the sleep tracking and PAI function started to record very inaccurate data. I always went to sleep within a 30 minute window every night and woke at the same time each morning. About 80% of the nights it would say I went to sleep at 1, 2 or 3 am when I had been asleep since 9:30 pm. This happened even on nights where I had very restful sleep and not waking or getting out of bed. The PAI readings also were wildly inconsistent when performing similar exercise routines. One day a 24 reading after 8 mile walk and next day a reading of 5 for a similar workout. I then moved to the GTR 4 thinking the GTR 2 sensors were defective. Very similar issue. In addition, on nights where I did have accurate sleep sessions and a good score, several days later that score would change and my sleep time for that good night changed to show I didn't start my sleep until 1 or 2 am. I opened numerous help tickets and sent screen shots showing the sleep results (for the same night) changing several days later. The responses were always a canned response asking me if my issue was resolved. I returned the GTR 4 and was ready to write off Amazfit. I then thought about trying the T-Rex as one last shot. I purchased and have had for about a month. Again, great hardware and I love the watch. However it is exhibiting the same inaccurate sleep and PAI readings as the GTR 2 and GTR 4. Since I typically walk 18-20k steps per day my PAI reading was in the range of 120-140 for the last 3 years(when it did record correctly). Now with the T-Rex my PAI shot up to 200 in just 3 days (doing the same number of steps) and then to over 300. In addition the wild fluctuations in my sleep start and stop times occurs with this watch too. I know it's not me because as a test I was wearing an older Fitbit Charge on my other arm to see if it had the same issues. It consistently recorded my sleep times accurately even though it's 3 years old. So I'm returning my T-Rex due to poor customer support and poor performance of the software in the products. I hate to go back to Fitbit or some other tracker because I really love the Amazfit hardware. However, I purchased the watch for the tracking features and I'm beyond the point of frustration.
