Nice light, looks good and is affordable. Construction is pretty quick and easy with it being screwed together. Not super sturdy, definitely has some give to it but is reasonably stable, not super tall, but tall enough to put near a chair and sit and read. All together pretty good value for what you get.

I wanted this to add some moody lighting to my room, I thought the shade was going to be made of brass, but it’s cloth. It still works in the corner above a comfy chair and omits some nice shadows, at night, when lit. It was easy to assemble and seems to be well-made.

I love it I don't understand all the comments saying it's not sturdy its a very sturdy heavy lamp and the lamp shade is perfect it won't come off unless you take it off
