AT&T Phone System
This phone system is great and works as it should. I had no problems with set up. After a few hours of charging battery, I was good to go!

Very nice phone set
When I purchased this phone and received it from Amazon, I set it up right away and started using it. It was easy to set up and the directions are very clear. I am happy with the phone and the easy setup. Would recommend it to others looking for a landline phone set.

With caller ID, call blocking works great
I purchased the AT&T BL102-4 cordless phone set from the Amazon Warehouse (like-new used in original packaging) when our family switched from a traditional landline setup to a VOIP landline with our local cable provider. We previously had been using a cordless system from another brand with our phone company's service and the call quality was never good - often lots of crackle on the line, making callers hard to hear. I wasn't sure if it was the phones, the service, or the cords, so I replaced all of them and started anew. The build quality of this AT&T phone system was a little less substantial than I expected, but the phones do their job and call quality is good. The handsets and the base feel kind of cheap, but this is an under-one hundred dollar phone system so I guess that's to be expected. It works well though, and the features are good. The only feature I miss is Bluetooth. If this system had it I could pair it with my cell phone, but other than that, it's not missing anything.----------------------------------➡️ SETUP & USE:I put the batteries in the phones and charged them as I went to the included user manual to try and figure out how to set it up. The manual is a bit overwhelming, but if you read it carefully and go step by step, you can figure it out. Some features on the phone duplicate those offered by my cable company, so I did need to figure out which ones to set up and which ones to leave off on the phone. For example, my cable provider offers voicemail, and thus using the answering machine feature of this phone system isn't something that I do.Once I set up things like the number of rings before the calls were answered, I started adding numbers into my phone's contacts. Doing this let these callers come right through, and helped with call blocking. I set it up so that callers I didn't recognize would have to press the pound button on their phones to get through. This eliminates robocalls, but real-live telemarketers can still get through.---------------------------------------➡️ CALL BLOCKING FEATURE:Call blocking only works if your phone service provider has caller-ID enabled for your account. It works like this...When a call comes through that you have not put on your call block list already, or that your provider has not filtered, you get an audio announcement of the number and associated caller name. You can disable the audio announcement if desired. You can then decide if you want to answer or block the call. If you wish to block it, you press the call block button on the handset which is in the lower right corner. That stops the call from coming through and the ringing stops on the phone.Call blocking has been a life-changing feature for us. The combination of our cable provider phone service and this phone has eliminated 98% of our telemarketing calls and all of the robocalls. We no longer have to unplug our phones to get some sleep, and the calls we do get are nice and clear.------------------------------------------The top 3 reasons I purchased this phone system...1. I got a heck of a deal through the Amazon Warehouse during Prime Day (an additional 20% off the warehouse price), making it under seventy for me.2. The call blocking feature to eliminate robocalls and telemarketers.3. The ability to increase the volume easily on the handset, for my hard-of-hearing husband.-----------------------------------------------This phone system works with both traditional phone service providers and VOIP cable company phone services. It comes with four handsets and has a built-in answering machine along with the call blocking feature that works with the caller ID provided by your phone service provider. The handsets are lightweight, have big numbers that are easy to see along with the LCD display. The caller ID announce feature is a nice addition and most of the time it's easy to understand.🎯 I think this phone system is a good one for those who want to eliminate robocalls and telemarketing calls from their life. I also think it's a good choice for those who are impaired visually or have hearing loss.===========================================

User friendly for 80 yr old! and work with a VOIP system!
These are perfect for the VOIP service I have signed up for. I have moved to a neighborhood surrounded by a preserveand no cell towers nearby. I tried to get a landline but when the tech arrived he said there was no cell service so he couldn't install the land line which now work off cell towers! Then he said I needed to get VOIP so I signed up for that and they sent me a big heavy modem and five other parts including an antennae and I watched videos and put it together as told on the appointment date and at the very end it said you must have three bars of cell reception for it to work. Also the panasonic handsets I ordered did not seem to work. I called the provider and after much explaining he said just plug the phone into my internet modem so I did and was able to receive a call from him! So all that extra equipment was not needed. But the phones were very confused as to the internet thing and I could not make a call out. So I read all the reviews about these and since my provider was also AT*T I thought I would take a chance. I read one review that fortunately mentioned using it with VOIP and that gave me all the hope I needed. They arrived the next day and I plugged them in and YES! Finally I had a user friendly phone and it worked great with my internet! It was easy to put numbers in and then only allow those dozen or so people to call. I leave off the answering service but leave on the spam detector for numbers it doesn't recognize. I am so thrilled to have phone service again and so grateful to the reviewer who mentioned these worked with VOIP.

Improvement over prior brand, but wish it supported 6 phones
While it was a bit confusing to set up, particularly the answer system with so many options, it has drastically cut down on Spam calls since the caller must hit the # key (with the option we use) if not in our Directory. Unlike our older phones, it is also easy to block a call with one key if one does come through, although it does not appear you can block a missed Spam call viewed in the CID list. At least they don't ring through as our old set did, but it would be nice to block out repeat callers so they don't even appear in that list as missed calls. The sound quality is very good and one can hit the Audio Assist key to improve that during a call.If there is a way to change the readout, I have not found it. Thus, each phone in order displays "Handset 1," "Handset 2," etc. So, unless we find a way to change those to "Family Room," "Kitchen," etc., we must keep a list by each phone for intercom use until we remember which is where. While it picked up the call list from our cell phones via Bluetooth, I found no way to pick up the real list we used on home phones from our prior set and had to enter those manually. And, unlike the last set we owned, it does not appear to allow cell calls to come through to the home set. Of course, our last set tried to let text messages through, which rang through, making that function worthless. Our former set supported 6 phones, which this does not. I knew that when making the purchase, so I cannot downgrade a star for that. Overall, it is an improvement.
