Simple, sturdy, very useful and inexpensive. The adapters come as a pair. Perhaps almost essential for the modern laptops, etc. that are coming with only USB-C ports. A good alternative or complement to the usual adapter cables that hang from the USB-C port. This adapter just sticks to the USB-C port and we can connect the USB-A device straight without letting it hang or lie around. But once this adapter is put in one USB-C port of the laptop, we may not be able to use the neighboring ports for connecting other devices because this adapter occupies some space around the USB-C port. For example, on my laptop, I can't put two of these adapters in the adjacent USB-C ports, because after putting one in one port, there is just not enough space left for putting the other in the next port. But it depends on the particular device, the spacing between the ports, etc. Adapter cables are better in that regard since they don't occupy as much extra space around the USB-C port, so they are likely to let the neighboring ports remain usable for connecting other devices.
