Excellante' Wooden High Chair, Natural

Great inexpensive alternative to ugly high chairs. This one blends in with our decor and wiped down easy. I have no idea why people spend $200+ on those godawful huge ones with all the cushioning. I realize they are buying for 'comfort', but kids are messy and those chairs get disgusting fast. The baby only eats in the chair, it's not like he/she sleeps there... I highly recommend this chair as an easy, aesthetically pleasing alternative.

We purchased two of these for our 2 yr old and 7 month old. we properly assembled and double checked all screws to be properly tightened but within two days of use they both began to wobble. Our 2 year old has stood up in it and sat back down a few times but they have not been allowed to play on them or rock them yet these chairs are already falling apart.The quality is a little lower than their restaurant versions. We are sad they didn't work out and the price was too high for the quality of wood.

Keep in mind this is a high chair for a toddler. The toddlers safety should be foremost when designing this product. It was defective from the moment I opened the box. One of the critical components of this high chair arrived broken. The ‘T’ bar that goes between the infants legs and anchors the center strap arrived with the bottom cracked. This meant the black metal socket wouldn’t not stay inside of the bar which made it impossible to tightly screw the bolt into it that anchors the T-Bar and the center strap. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement which was even more defective than the original part. The replacement part was missing the black metal socket and it was clearly cracked. That made it impossible to use.The seller promised to send me another part, but it has never arrived.

We purchased this for our 18 mos old granddaughter to use when visiting. I love it because it allows her to "sit" at the table with the family when we are eating dinner. This is one of the best purchases we've made for our granddaughter. It took me about 15 mins to assemble, is very sturdy and an incredible value for the price. I CANNOT imagine why anyone would pay $100+ for the other like items I saw online when this product is perfect and looks much nicer. Very happy with this purchase.

My three year old is always on the go and I was always struggling to get him to finish his meals. He never sits down long enough to eat all his food so I decided to buy this chair since he is restrained in restaurants. This chair perfect! He is unable to undo the seatbelt and is now restrained and is eating all his food. I loved this chair so much I just purchased a second one for grandma's house. It is great quality wood and it is sturdy enough my almost 8 year old is able to sit in it too. We will be using this chair for many years to come.

I truly love this chair. Its solid wood, its safe and steady. I got 1 for my oldest and then ended up buying a 2nd for my youngest. My boys are 2 and 1 y/o and they both climb and do crazy things. This chair is sturdy and can hold their climbing and they are able to get up and down on their own -with me watching right next just in case :)-- but the chair is SAFE and has never tipped. What I love the most is the simple design and the natural color. I also had an amazing experience with both the seller and the manufacturer. I had ordered by mistake the wrong color. It arrived at the time when I was moving into a new house so it stayed in the package for over a month until I had time to open. When I did I realized the color was not right and called the seller who was super nice and even when I had overpassed my return date they honored my mistake and allowed me the exchange. Not only that, I realized that the manufacturer was very close to my work (Thundergroup) and they also allowed me to do the exchange in person with the manurfacturer so I didn't have to pay the extra back and forth shipping cost. That is outstanding customer service!!! Thank you!!!!!

This chair is far superior to the plastic and metal ones that cost so much more. The quality is excellent, and the chair is sturdy. We had a few issues with some of the bolts while assembling, but a few emails to/from the seller quickly rectified the problem. The immediate seller response was genuinely a welcomed surprise.The chair fits perfectly at the dining room table and will allow our little grandson to sit with the family during meals while he visits. We purchased the cherry color model, and it was an excellent choice for our décor. It blends in well with our dining room furniture while not taking up much space.

We're very impressed by this seat. It is sturdy and because of the pyramid shape of the base it would be difficult for our toddler to tip over in it. We've never seen him so much as get it to rock, let alone tip. His grandparents have a plastic booster seat that straps onto a regular dining chair. Compared to that one, this is easier to clean, easier to get him in and out of, and feels more secure/less likely to tip. I took off one star in "easy to assemble" because the first chair we ordered was missing a drill hole in the back rest. We couldn't finish assembling it until we received a replacement part. Now that that's done the seat has been terrific.
