First impressions are very favourable indeed
I bought this camera to replace an ancient Coolpix 4500 which served me very well for many years, and it seems to be very good value at the price I paid, that is £136. You can't really use the camera properly without an additional SD card, but the one I salvaged from an old palm top is working well. The resolution is excellent, and I'm most impressed by the zoom. Similarly, first impressions are that the macro facility (which I need from time to time) works well too. Another notable feature is that the camera's operating system (which I haven't yet fully explored) seems to be well designed and largely intuitive.OK - it's a bit previous for me to write this review on the basis of a couple of days' experience, but, since there is, currently, only one other review of this product, I thought is was worth handing on these first, very favourable, impressions.

Excellent 'walkabout' camera ...
Fabulous little camera and ideal for most situations ... Was a tad miffed to find the next upgrade available at Argos for less than £110 but these things happen ... the pre-sets are really effective too .... Great pictures and Highly recommended ....

Its OK does the job
I looked around, amazon dont offer too much information my fault though for not checking, the camera has normal batteries, even though they have lasted some time, you could get causght out so you have to carry additional luggage to carry the batteries, also difficult to get at the card, its simple but you have to put additional stress on the pop out cover to get access due to the batteries have that spring loaded thingy bob

Bottom of battery housing case breaks off
Was very happy when first brought the camera but as it takes 4 AA batterys, and they don't last long! Forever opening the battery cover to replace the batterys then the little plastic clasp snapped off after half dozen uses, so now have to keep it closed with an elastic band.Nice camera but flimsy battery case cover.Would not recommended for this reason.

Excellent
I don't know much about camera but this one is perfect for me. High quality of photos but sometimes it's a bit blur when I tried to focus on face. Modern model.

Nikon still a wonderful marque!
Sold Nikons 55 years ago when they were first imported used many since both film and digital. Think this is outstanding in the first week I took an hand-held close up of a full moon. Visible on my web-site silvestersolutions .com on the Gallery page judge for your self.
