This shower scrub delivered exactly what I was looking for: effective exfoliation with a mild scent. Its abrasive texture was perfect for sloughing off dead skin. It is on the rougher side though, so If you have sensitive skin or troubled skin spots, I would using this on them. Leaves my skin feeling super soft and rubbing it in circles and letting it sit for a minute before washing it off.

This has the same constancy as Lava Soap for men and will clean just about anything off your hands. I changed the oil on my car the other day and it took off the blackened grease that splashed on my skin. It will get rid of onion and garlic smell too. Like lava soap, it has coarser granules than the average body scrub.The one thing I do not trust is that it does not lather. So, I use a hand soap on top of using this. So based on the consistency I wasn’t expecting my skin to be moisturized afterwards but I was pleasantly surprised! My skin is quite dry and I find that scrubs fall into one of two categories, “sugar scrub in oil with gross added scents” or “scrub that feels nice in the shower but leaves your skin dry afterwards.” This is neither, it’s got a high end scent and your skin will indeed feel very smooth afterwards. With my dry skin I’ll still have to apply moisturizer afterwards (to retain all the hydrating goodness) but this is the first time in a long time since I’ve been impressed with a body scrub. As an added bonus the exfoliants are so gentle, I had some healing cat scratches on my arm and this didn’t irritate them at all.

This scrub works well to exfoliate skin on non-sensitive areas of the body, such as feet, legs, and upper arms. It feels rough on my body so I can't imagine using it on my face (and I know my dermatologist would be critical if I did). The scrub did make my skin feel smoother, but it felt too harsh and I didn't like the cloying citrus scent. I also think it's too expensive for the quantity received. However, this did a great job at getting rid of paint from my hands.

I like to use an exfoliating body scrub at least twice a week, as I find that it keeps my skin looking and feeling healthy while helping to prevent or resolve ingrown hairs. Of all the formulations I've used, I think this may be my favourite!There are two types of grit in this scrub, and they are both gentle on the skin and extraordinarily effective. The scrub feels amazing, is actually pleasant to use, and the light citrus-y scent is lovely! I find that it lathers unusually well, and surprisingly little product is needed to do the job. My husband likes it, as well, which is unusual because he has ridiculously sensitive skin that usually reacts poorly to exfoliators; not so with this.I was unfamiliar with the brand prior to this order, but am impressed enough to want to try other products in their line. Highly recommended!

This scrub delivers great exfoliating and cleansing but doesn’t strip my skin or leave it feeling tight. I’m pleased with the results.

This scrub reminds me of slime that kids play with, except it's purple with fine grains. It has a very mild scent, barely noticeable but pleasant. It does a good job of gently exfoliating, leaving skin feeling soft and smooth. This would be great for people with sensitive skin or who just want a mild exfoliation

I use a very aggressive type of japanese washcloth when showering. My wife won't use it, and honestly its a bit rough for my face. This product, on top of the aggressiveness of the scrub, sheeeesh. The sand grit of the product added nicely to the scrub and resulted in some crazy smooth skin and more importantly even got some ingrown hairs out. I'm a fan of this product for adding that "umph" to the scrub that sometimes feels necessary. I don't specifically smell it much but I usually lather up again with my usual sandalwood bodywash. As I won't be using it all the time -- my scrub is aggressive enough most of the time -- I imagine it will last me a while. Overall a good product.
