This just might be one of the best Borescopes that I have used or seen in a long time. This is for my husband who works on cars/ATV's as a hobby. The current one that he is using the view is simply awful. I'm not sure if something happened to the Lense, but the view is unimpressive. After searching for a bit, I did run across this one made by JESERAL store. Based on the visual presentation and the product details, I thought this seemed very similar to the one he uses, but has better features noted. With that, I ordered this and now that I have this home and inspected/used- I will say that this has definitely surpassed our last one. This was made with premium grade materials, that is evident upon opening. At no time did I encounter issues of malfunctions, defects or missing parts. Everything has operated as it is intended. The image quality on this inspection camera truly exceeded my expectations. The 5-inch screen displays crystal clear footage, and the articulating probe makes it so much easier to navigate tight spaces. I particularly appreciate the built-in screen - no need to mess with phone connections or apps. While the cable could be stiffer for certain applications, the LED lights and adjustable brightness have helped me tackle various inspection jobs with confidence. The carrying case is nice but requires disassembling the unit to store it, which is a minor inconvenience. Despite a few small quirks, I've found this to be a reliable tool that's earned its place in my kit.

First, the good news: The image quality of this borescope is excellent, the screen is bright, and it has a very shallow depth of focus. The camera itself is very small, allowing you to get into some tight spaces. Having a built-in screen is a great feature compared to my other borescope, which requires me to pair it to my iPad. I really appreciate this all-in-one setup. The articulating camera is a game-changer. It’s easy to control with the joystick, and it allows you to easily pinpoint your subject. Being able to snap a photo or make a video is possible just by pulling the trigger.However, there are a couple of things I don’t like. First, the unit comes with a very nice fitted case, but unfortunately, the scope will not fit in the case with the display attached. It’s not a huge deal, but it would be nice if I didn’t have to detach and unplug the screen every time I want to put it away. A bigger deal, at least for my use case, is that the cable is simply not stiff enough. It is, in fact, very flexible. Once you extend more than about 8”, the camera droops. This flexibility might be an advantage for some, but for much of what I do, I need a cable that will hold its shape as it’s extended into the space.I’ll also take issue with some of the wording in the listing. They say, for example, it has 4 levels of brightness. It actually has only 3, unless you count “off” as a brightness. They also say it has 5 levels of zoom - 1.0x, 1.5x, 2.0x, 2.5x, and 3.0x. But 1x is not a zoom level, it's the default magnification. Beyond that, there are only three levels of crop, not 5. Also, understand this is only a “digital” zoom. The image is simply being cropped, so the quality reduces as the image is cropped closer.If your use case doesn't require a stiff cable, and you're willing to overlook misstatements on light brightness and zoom level, this may be the scope you've been looking for. Overall, it seems to be a quality build.

... And I have purchased three of this kind of boroscope camera product. It has features that the others did not have, which makes its use and the things you can do with it better, easier and more a plenty. And the picture quality is hands down far better than the other versions I own. Like night and day better. These can be used for so many different purposes other than automotive, you can use this to clear walls of electrical hazards before embarking on those types of projects. You can use it to locate clogs in any number of situations or circumstances such as dryer vents and small pipes. There are so many different applications that this can provide solutions to and for. Because of the added features and the share quality of the picture I find this to be an excellent value.
