The giraffe is incredibly lifelike, with beautiful attention to detail, from its realistic spots to its soft, cuddly fur.It’s sturdy yet soft, making it perfect for both imaginative play and as a room decoration. Unfortunately I purchased this from Amazon and the package was lost in the mail. I tried to get a replacement but they were sold out and I got a refund instead which broke my heart because I had been eying this item for MONTHS and it was finally on sale.I searched the internet and found another for the same price that Amazon was offering so I jumped on it and was SO HAPPY when it finally arrived.This is a fantastic sizes giraffe that is a very high quality and beautiful looking item. I tried buying other brands but they were simply low quality and some of them just ugly.The Melissa & Doug brand giraffe is worth every penny and you will be happy with your purchase! If you/re on the fence take the plunge you'll be happy you did!

Loved this giraffe! He's is firm on his feet, cute face, and nice and tall. He was perfect for my jungle theme for my grandson. Well worth the price.

I just pulled this giraffe out of the box, and am amazed at the quality. It was packaged well and wasn't bent in half at the neck, as I feared it might be. It's capable of standing solidly, and takes some effort to bend it into the posed position of your choice. I like that it's so solid and not flimsy, because I suspect my grandkids will play with this giraffe for several years, climbing on it and moving it around for imaginative play. The quality of the plush fabric is quite nice. The fabric has a subtle nap to it, which explains why sometimes I've seen pictures of this giraffe looking light colored, while other pictures show more of a golden brown tone. It's heavy enough that it won't knock over easily, but not so much so that a 3 year old can't wrangle it. I owned and operated a specialty toy store years back, for about 13 years, and I have always been happy with the quality that comes with Melissa and Doug products. This one is extremely well done, and at 40% off, I couldn't pass it up. I suspect this will be one of those toys the kids remember well into their adult years.

Purchased for our grandbaby's nursery. The most adorable addition! Everyone had a fit about it at the baby shower. Great quality. Cute. Perfect for so many spaces!
