Wonderfully sharp macro pictures
Wonderfully sharp macro pictures, works well as a portrait lens in a pinch, nice natural colours, accurate AF, focus stop helps avoid excessive focus hunting on older camera bodies.

Great Lens
This is a wonderful lens. The build quality is top notch and imaging is faultless. The only down sides is the over long barrel when focusing in for 1:1 macro can be a bit annoying (the lens is almost doubles in length at 1:1). Also the auto-focus is a little on the noise side and a bit slow on macro shots (manual focusing is recommended for Macro), but these are minor faults that are no real problem. The focal lock switch is a handy feature and the focusing ring is very large which is always a good thing.I have taken some fantastic shots with this lens on my Sony Alpha a350 and highly recommend this lens for any one interested in macro photography.
