Excellent Moisturizer and skin treatment for eczema. Wash eczema skin with Organic Black Soap, rinse, pat dry and apply a thin layers of vaseline to seal in the moisture, and to stop the itching Iappied my (prescribed Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream USP, 1%/0.05%) thinly and repeated this am and pm. I am very happy with my results. Once the eczema clears continue with Organic Black Soap and vaseline to control flare ups and it itching reoccurs, follow the same steps for relief and healing 😀 and of course follow up with your Dermatologist and or PCP.

I haven’t had good black soap since 2023, they would burn my skin and I knew either too much ash was in it or it wasn’t truly raw ingredients. This soap is amazing, it’s hydrating and I look younger. Previously, I used a liquid African black soap. The smell was delightful, and the soap was good. But I was growing concerned about the six empty plastic containers that just went into the environment each year so I decided to try the bar soap.After reading many reviews, I settled on this brand. I chose the single bar because it had next day delivery and I was keen to try it. I cut the bar in half, put 1/2 into the fridge, and started using the other half which is a normal soap bar size. Someone else had noted just how very soft the bar got. And that is correct. When I was using the bath soap. It was dripping globes of soap into the sink. Which is not good for the drainage and it’s a waste of the product. So I purchased one of those wood bar soap, drainer holders, and that now sits in the window of my bathroom. As you can see from the photos once the bar loses the excess water it shrivels down in size.This soap lathers up beautifully, and with my northern European Scottish skin I have had no dry issues – even though my skin is usually a little dry.It leaves my sling squeaky clean, very soft and moisturized.This bar has a very faint smell, it’s nice but not very noticeable.I do slightly miss the fresh smell of my liquid soap but neither I, nor future generations will be looking at my plastic waste floating in the water supply so I’m happy about that.Why did you pick this product vs others?:No bulky plastic. African black soap is great.

I was very surprised at how subtle the scent was, it’s very apparent nothing was added to increase or add to it. It’s a very light earthy, slightly spicy scent that does linger after the shower. The soap itself does what you would expect soap to do, it cleans without needing to keep lathering, and my skin doesn’t feel dehydrated from it. You won’t get an intense lather like some commercial soaps/body washes if that’s something you want but it does enough to not feel like you’re wasting product.

Great soap! Loving it so far and definitely encourage buys to give it a try.

My skin seems to stay hydrated with this soap after showering. I'm really happy about that. I'm slowly seeing a nice increase in maintaining moisture also. My eczema seems to have a positive reaction to it. I'm extremely happy with that aspect with this product. No crazy smells or irritation for people like myself with sensitive skin. Has a very strong smell, but it cleans my skin well and has lightened the dark skin on my armpits. Very durable, probably could build a brick house with this thing haha. Definitely recommend if you don’t mind a strong smell.
