This syrup reminded me of plum sherbet my mom used to make from sour plums from our garden. Only 1 spoon of syrup makes a full 200-250 ml glass of sherbet. The main flavor is of jeera and rock salt and I didn't feel the need to add more jeera. But once you chill it or add the ice, that is when you get the taste of kokum. I didn't find the taste that exquisite (may be simply because I have tasted something similar) but for those living in cities away from nature, such a product is a boon. I want to rate it 5 star specifically because it is the most refreshing thing I have ever tasted. The moment the drink reaches your stomach, you feel all the heat vanish from your body, there's a nice cool super satisfying feeling in tummy and you feel full of energy almost immediately. I LOVED IT! My only concern is the high amount of sugar due to which personally I can't have it as often as I would like to. Though you will not find it much sugary in taste. The syrup is a beautiful attractive ruby red color. I even tried it by adding soaked chia seeds and it tasted equally yum and healthier. Wanted to freeze it as ice cubes and also on ice gola but it finished too soon. Price is a bit steep and not economical for family use because it will end within a few days. But quality is phenomenal. The brand is super trust worthy, have tried other products from them. Keynote Kokum Syrup comes in a pristine square glass bottle which you would love to save. There was no issue with the bottle cap like some people have mentioned. There was an extra cap that got crushed but it was never required. The packing was secure. I appreciate that in today's time someone is actually taking pain to provide a pure glass packing instead of plastic and giving people access to such exotic gifts of nature like kokum. Thank you Keynote International. Surely a repurchase!

Writing this review after my second bad experience getting this product from Amazon. Buying the product directly from the keynote website is a better choice. Product is good and refreshing. There seems to be problem with the way the product is stored and transported by Amazon which spoils the product and its taste.

Dilute this more than they recommend. Because this juice is mixed with Sugar and when consumed without very good dilution, it may irritate your throat. (If you are sensitive to overload of sugar).Kokum juice is supposed to be mixed with Honey. I had high hopes on the brand "Keynote". But at the end, it is just a off-the-shelf concentrated juice with sugar.

Passion fruit is not a readily available fruit at typical fruit vendors in Mumbai suburban. However due to its distinctive taste & unusual seedy texture, it is very desirable while making coolies, cocktails, etc. So with high expectations, I had ordered this product with an objective of preparing mixers & ice cream toppings for one of my house parties and I am very happy to say that Keynote Passion Fruit Concentrate was found out to be better than I expected.Firstly, this is not your regular extra sugary fruit syrup, which is indeed the best part of this product as it provides the real flavor of passion fruit and at the same time gives one freedom to add sweetener depending upon the application it is being used for. I used it for preparing a sweet reduction sauce for topping ice creams and also prepared passion fruit Caprioska. Me and my house guests were delighted with the results and have lined up a few more recipes for our consequent gatherings!To summarize, if you want ease of use but at the same time do not want to compromise on passion fruit flavor and texture then this is the product for you.
