Great.
It’s a great addition to have for my iPhone photography. The zoom is great on the lens even if the sharpness does become soft towards the edges. The lens attaches well to the case and feels secure.

Can only focus at the extreme left of the focus ring
works on 24mm lens on 15ProMax but cannot use it as a close up unless I am focusing on infinity, it won’t focus on nearby subjects, is this a fault? What is the sharpest close focus distance, it very blurry in this situation. Sometimes when I use the 2X and 5X lenses it works fine but other times the phone hunts. On 5X it’s a bit soft but easy to sharpen in post. The manual is rubbish, just a piece of paper with hardly any information and no focus distance settings statistics. Expected better from Neewer for the price, shame as it is well build and hefty and solid.

Uneven focus and poor image quality
Not recommended. Used the lens on iPhone 15 Pro Max. There are several problems to note, which make lens totally unusable.(1) The entire left side of the image cannot get in focus, which points to poor internal lens alignment.(2) Very strong light reflection in the opposite corner, which forces to crop that part out of the image.(3) Overall, very soft low resolution image with no sharpness at all. The only area that gets in focus is the very middle of the image. Even though it’s focused, it’s still soft and blurry. After all imperfections are cropped out, you would end up with such low resolution final image (combined with already low resolution the lens provides), that I don’t see any use for it.If you have iPhone 12 and newer just don’t bother. Your native phone lenses will produce much better and sharper image even at the equivalent magnification.

Internal mark on lens control.
Mark inside of of lenses, obviously no quality control, also not what I would call light.Would also preferred to have it as a zoom lens for that amount of money.Returning item
