GuruN-Gauge Extra Strong Rig/Hooklength Line 100M

I have this in 6lb and 9lb strengths. I use the 6 for float fishing hook links, the 9 for leger/feeder hook links . Both work really well. Plenty strong enough and low diameter.

Guru line is on all my rigs, super dependable never had any breakages in 2 years, my 100% go to line, excellent.

N-gauge is not available at most high street tackle dealers who try and sell the popular so called zero refractive index fluorocarbon hook line. Being a sceptic I cut several lengths of different makes of fluorocarbon lines and N-gauge and put them all in a glass of water. I could see them all equally well. There appeared to be no difference. So much for that myth then. Fluorocarbon lines are always much thicker and considerably stiffer than this Guru product. What's more the stated strength is the knotted strength. All other lines that I have used and tested fail much below their rated strength. A knot willn easily reduce the actual strength to 70 or 80% of its rated strength. Most lines are now mass produced in China so some quality control may be lost but N-gauge is made in Japan. Speaks for itself really doesn't it?

Very fast delivery. Already used and held well with carp. Very strong line. Was weary cause of few comments saying weak line but no faults with it this end. Took a few metres of and threw it away (as you always should) due to being taped and weakening the line but then rest is very strong. Does the job and cheap. Recommended
