Didn’t work
Didn’t have a good result at all, I followed the instructions perfectly but the colour was a muddy brown not black so very unhappy with it and won’t buy again

Mislabelled bottle ruined a garment
Using this product for a university assignment and was severely disappointed. One bottle came out blue to navy (this is normal and my desired result) and the other bottle came out purple (confirmed by multiple tests. Bottle must have been defective or mislabelled as black. Very disappointed.

Exposure time is critical for good details when negatives to expose an image you will need to do some experimentation.
This worked pretty well and the image came out pretty good for a first attempt with no previous experience with this type of product. The dark area contrast has faded after a few washes but the image is still very visible. I To create the print I used a high resolution inkjet film negative. Since this was my first time using this product and exposing on a t-shirt there were some challenges: Getting a shirt onto a board flat, applying the solarfast liquid evenly and a piece of glass to secure the film. Next time I would increase exposure in full mid-day sun instead of late day sun.

Not a true black
I ordered black but it comes out as a navy blue...if I wanted blue I would have just bought the cheaper, standard cyanotype dye.

What a waste. Tried it multiple times with direct light using both transparencies and objects. Color is not even black but a puke brown color. Read somewhere that someone finally made something work after using two panes of glass to make the fabric tight...too bad I am not trying this again.

At first I did not get the desired result, try again and it worked well, saw the changes as they are revealed, do not use a washing machine, I did it by hand, and came out perfect
