Comfortable and best sound of all the high end sets I've owned.
I use these for PC gaming and cellphone music listening. At 24 bit 96khz they sound phenomenal. Better than most headphones, gaming or otherwise. Music sounds exceptionally impressive too. The Dolby Atmos is especially impressive. The material... soft and smooth cloth ear pads are surprisingly 10x better than the many others I've had that use faux leather or even real leather (Lucid sound ls50x, Turtlebeach stealth 700 Gen 1 & 2, Bose Quiet Comfort, Beats Solo 1 & Studio 3). I once fell asleep for 6 hours and when I woke up my ears weren't sore or sweating. With most of the others I've mentioned my ears often did get sore and sweaty. The only gripe I have is that they don't simultaneously connect to 2.4 ghz and Bluetooth at the same time. That's the one thing that is better about the Lucid Ls50x, but those don't support 24 bit 96khz, which actually does make a noticeable difference in quality.Other than that, I recommend these over all of the above, especially at such a reasonable price.

Best headset
The audio quality is amazing, the battery lasts for days with an average of four hours of use and only takes about thirty minute to fully charge, the mic is great my friends say it’s crystal clear, as for the construction they survived getting chucked across my apartment and colliding with the wall, pretty solid, I’m a big guy 6’ and 240lbs 7(5/8) head, and they fit great, with I’ve downloaded you can change color of leds, full surround sound. Honestly, spend the money and get the best headset under $500.

Incredibly unreliable, unusable premium headset
Here's the simple timeline for your review:- Bought it 2 months ago. Out of the box, it was perfect. It connected through bluetooth and 2.4ghz without any issue. The Atmos was ok, really, it was not any better than your average $5 generic headset, ok maybe $10.- 2 months later, NOW, the headset is having problem. #1 problem, the headset constantly go in and out while I'm playing game. It almost feels like when my game doesn't emit loud noises at certain area/cut scene, the headset just stops working, probably to save power? I turned off the sleep mode. It's still doing it. Imagine having a headset that works half of the time because it wants to save energy and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. #2 This is the worst, half of the time the headset doesn't connect to the 2.4 ghz or bluetooth, I had to completely uninstall the 1GB piece of software called iCue and reinstall. The last time, I couldn't uninstall it because it said it some process was running and that I had to shut it down but I couldn't find anything in Task Manager. Then I had to start in Safemode to completely wipe out all Corsair-related files, this is so frustrating, especially for someone who has worked in IT for a long time. Then after installation, most of the time it connects just fine, the other time it connects but I got no sound. Then I had to go into the sound option in Windows 11 to disable the device, re-enable, turn off the volume, turn on the volume, mute the mic, and unmute the mic. That was my life until I decided to stop using it altogether. The benefits of using this far outweigh the frustration and headache.Do yourself a favor and stay away from Corsair for now. I don't know what happened to them but in the past 2 years, they must have lost a lot of engineers. Just look at the review of this, 65% working, the rest is not. Look at the size of the tiny software, 1GB? Do you know how big is Mac OS and Windows, far far smaller and it powers a company. This software powers only 1 headset. This speaks enough for the incompetence programming skill of their engineers, no wonder the headset barely works.

Significant Upgrade From HS80
I had been using the normal Corsair HS80 for about a year and decided to get these because the Bluetooth would allow them to be used with stuff like my Nintendo Switch so I can use them for more than my PC.I've had them for a few days now and can already say the upgrade to the Max is worth it, the buttons are more tactile, you have to hold the power button way less before the headphones turn on or off, the volume scroll wheel feels more premium and has more resistance when scrolling for more precision. The ear cuffs are a much nicer material, and while I do have a large head, the headphones are very comfortable and snug, the shape fits my ears perfectly. It's like getting a head hug while I'm using them. The mic is still excellent but unfortunately the sound still leaves a lot to be desired. But for the price I paid ($140 after tax), I obviously can't expect these to do everything the absolute best. There is another listing here on Amazon for the exact same headphones, but it's $10-$50 more expensive depending on if it's on sale or not. So, I don't understand what that's about, but the cheaper price is nice.

Corsair headphones
A year and a half using this headphones, I must say the sound quality it’s nice, good spatial sound, good design, lightweight, comfortable on ears, good mic quality, but the connection it’s the only problem I see, not wire connection it’s a crime… the Bluetooth has big latency and the wireless fails sometimes, resuming, it’s an amazing build quality product, but need to improve the connectivity.

A new way to look at wireless headsets.
For a long time I have always hated wireless headsets because of the battery life. Every time I play games I have to leave it to charge because if I forget to I keep hearing low battery and it dies within minutes. Making using any wireless headsets quite terrible.[SKIP HERE FOR REVIEW]These headsets are so nice because it provides a long lasting battery that can last me around three days! They feel quite nice on the head so its pretty good to wear for extended amount of time. It fits pretty well and the range of it can go a decent way. The sound quality is a bit alright but great enough to still hear what you wanna hear. Even when low you get a good long time before the headset dies giving you a really early heads up without being annoying. You can also change it from the USB to bluetooth which is really great!Overall a solid choice for people who wanna listen with less wires around.
