So much fun and a quality product!
This little device has exceeded my expectations! The build quality is excellent. The battery life is very good. The screen is vibrant and bright. The weight is perfect for two or one-handed use. The software is already set up and fine-tuned so there isn't a need for any customization there. The buttons feel great and are very responsive. It uses USB-C for charging and connection to a computer which is very convenient. And it has one of the best features for a device like this: When you power it down you can do so in the middle of a game and it will automatically save your progress. When you turn the device back on you will come back exactly where you left off. And to top it off, it came with a nice quality carrying case with a key ring and charging cable and a USB-C headphone jack dongle! Excellent job with this Anbernic!

This thing is stupid. I absolutely love it!
This little handheld isn't for the casual user or someone looking for a real handheld. This is for the collector, the enthusiast, the admirer of technology. You're paying a premium to have a device that isn't going to have wide appeal like most handhelds. But say what you will about its practicality, the moment you hold one you'll fall in love with it. It's super solid, disappears into a pocket, the controls are way better than they have any right to be, and the 1:1 screen isn't so bad, obviously it's very small but it's very bright and sharp as well, also highly visible even in direct sunlight (I'm guessing these are repurposed smartwatch displays). This shouldn't be anyone's first handheld, but if you have a passion and love for these retro handhelds like I do and can stomach the slightly insane price, this thing is definitely no joke and one of my favorite gadgets ever.

I love this thing. I take it everywhere with me, right on my keychain.
I can't think of any complaint except for the screen size is a little small. Besides that, it does almost everything. MP3 player with the included headphone adapter, it plays videos (I render my favorite shows as 2 part episodes in a 240x240 resolution and they look amazing). Gaming is great as long as you play games with larger graphics and obviously limited text because it's extra tiny. If you're playing something like RPG or puzzle games it may be a bit hard to line up pieces/blocks or read instructions for your next mission. Stick to games you know and you probably won't have any issues.

Great for gifts and quick play
I got myself and my boyfriend one of these. We’re both into retro games, especially Pokemon. He loves it! Even when we’re out somewhere, we can play side-by-side. Plus, it’s metal, sk keeping it on a keychain is doable.Battery life is great, and it charges relatively quickly. I love the look and the colors it comes in! I got the Blue and he got the Red, which are very nice to look at.My only caveat is that I wouldn’t recommend this for very young kids unassisted. It might get chewed on, and that’s no good. Otherwise, I think most kids and up can have a great time with this!(BTW, get a new SD card and flash some custom firmware on it. You’ll thank me later.)

Great little device, but not for people with big hands...
I love this, but one of my thumbs covers the d-pad and all four buttons. It's just too small and cute for me to use. I haven't decided whether to keep it for the cute factor, give it to my kid, or return it. If you don't have gigantic hands, buy this and enjoy miniature gaming!

Great little gadget
Great product but dissapointed that it arrived late. It as many Anbernic products does not include Mario Kirby or Tetris games my 3 favorites. The Nintendo ninjas tend to scare these developers. To me playing it straight out of the box is why most people get it but at least you can add games if you have no help but a lot of people don't have to know how. All and all it is a great product.

Buggy but fun
The build is solid and the games are fun. The software is a little difficult to navigate. There doesn’t seem to be a way to add games to a favorite list. It would be a nice feature since there are hundreds of games and it is tedious to scroll through them. One feature that is nice is that you can turn it off in the middle of a game and it will pick up where you left off when you turn it back on. Occasionally the display freezes, but the game continues to run. When this happens I’ve had to turn it off and back on again. So far no progress is lost when this happens, but it makes me worried and causes me to save often. Overall a fun little device

Fun but almost unusable
You will definitely get heads turning…. But the unit is pretty unusable for most games. I wa able to play a few levels of super Mario, but don’t expect to finish the game comfortably… especially the later levels that require precision.
