AMAZZZINGGG PRODUCT!!!!! UPDATE.
Well wouldn't you know it, the compressor went out on my AC unit. I live in Florida in a mobile home and don't have 10,000 for a new unit I am on disability. What a mess. Well when I saw this air cooler, I was a bit skeptical, so I started to read the reviews and do some of my own research. WoW! what a blessing this turned out to be, We placed our trust in the LORD and had purchased one. Guys, first of all you have to understand that this is NOT AN AIR CONDITIONER. IT IS AN AIR COOLER/SWAMP COOLER and key is getting the water as cold as you can get it. Buy lots of ice and get plenty of ice packs. That is what makes this thing work and you will be very very happy. So get one, it's well worth the money at least until you can get your air repaired. This hot Florida weather is NO JOKE AND DANGEROUS.UPDATE: Continues to be an amazing product. Major key factor: yes you have to continually change out the ice packs; about every 60-90 minutes, so buy enough so you don't get discouraged. It uses 3 at a time and they do melt fast so you need about 30-35, get good ones. I find the gel ones that freeze solid seem to work the best and if you stay on top of it you will get good results. Now this is not a product that you load it and leave and then return home and expect your house to be cold when you get home, you WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. This is as honest as it gets. If you are up for the challenge then get one. If not, move on, not the product for you. I had to get one. I live in Florida and in a mobile home and with no air very difficult to function; and the price for a new AC is around 10,000. So, you see, it meets my needs. A friend suggested dry ice. Hmm an idea to ponder on. I will let you know throughout my updates.

For Garage Gym
We live in Texas and my gym is in the garage, this has been a game changer with minor drawbacks. I have a high powered wall fan already but it wasn’t enough in 90+ weather let alone 100+, added this cooler and while I don’t believe it drops the temp in the entire 3 car garage it helps keep cool air in my gym section. The ice packs are nice but I don’t typically use them, I may just drop real ice from my freezer if I’m feeling bougie but typically not needed. The drawbacks are a few minor things, I have to roll it out ti fill up with the hose since I don’t have a water line in the area of the gym. Draining it so water doesn’t sit stagnant if I know I won’t be using it. I don’t believe these are intended for inclosed spaces so I have to leave one bay door open to avoid humidity. Not a huge deal since we also bought a screen from Amazon to keep bugs out and air flowing.

Keeping it cool
This unit size is very adequate for a two-car garage setup and smaller patio setting. It has the advertised air flow - use in Las Vegas area today temp is expected to be 104 to 108 degrees - maintained a 80-degree temp in garage for most of the day, it did drop to 76 degrees once the sun set. A couple of things that would make this more operational efficient is installing a float device so water flow via hose would be auto shut flow of water supply. So far, this unit is working as advertised. The ice packs don't really last a long time - suggest purchasing better ice packs for longer use. The ones that come with it are water filled. Straight forward operation. Reminder the hotter it is the more water usage it will take.

good
I really like this product. The wind is strong enough and can be used indoors and outdoors. The wind it blows out is very cool. I can finally keep cool while eating barbecue.

Doesn’t Cool; don’t buy
I was really excited to have an AC inside my closed in gazebo but I’m highly disappointed for the price. Been wanting one for a few years now and I wish I could return it; outa my 30-day window. I ordered when it first started turning hot but just recently unpacked it. The 3 lil blue ice chiller boxes don’t even cool the water off before the ice crystallizes. Thought maybe we misread the instructions and needed to pour water in the vent filters. Reread instructions and nope nothing. $300+ wasted. It has a small filler opening in the front where the water is kept. We may try putting ice through the opening to cool the water off and see if that helps but otherwise it blows air just like a regular pedestal fan; recirculating hot air. For the price, you shouldn’t have to jimmy rig with ice for it to be a working AC. Hopefully the seller will see this review and contact me.Update: I checked my email and was surprised to see an email from the sellers. They offered me a full refund and the option to keep the product; thank you. This was indeed good customer service but I still wished the item workd as described for me because I ordered it based off customer reviews and I really wanted to love it.

Highly recommended
An exceptionally useful air cooler! It has strong wind power, and the air it blows out is very cool. More energy-efficient than an air conditioner. Highly recommended!

Cooler reduces temperature in the garage
Previous owner of my house allowed Tesla to install the solar inverter in the first garage. When we purchased the house, the inverter had burnt out. As the house was empty and garage temperatures went to 125 F in Phoenix summer. Added the swamp cooler and in dry season it cools garage down to about 85F. As monsoon season hit, it keeps the air circulation and temps rise to 100F or so, but much cooler than the 124 F to 130 F without the unit. The inverter made sounds when hot, all silent now that the cooler is running.

Not the best
This will never cool the room down like an AC unit and you will forever be changing the water and ice blocks. It is overpriced and just not good enough. Please also make sure you clean the unit properly, as it will smell after a while.
