So far great
Very easy to clean and plenty of room form my chicks. I wish it came with more pads since I’m still trying them out. I already have the rent a coop feeder and watered so works great.

Super cute
The brooder box arrived today, it was easy to put together. The material is a heavy cardboard with a light plastic feel on top. The top is easy to place, it has slits on top and all around for plenty of ventilation. I bought this because the chicks out grew the old brooder and we needed to get something bigger. Four chicks fit in it with plenty of room to grow. There is a light that comes with it and it lights the inside nicely, it doesn't give off heat. The liners are a must have, if you want to reuse the brooder again. I bought wood shavings to place on top of the liners for that extra absorbance. Over all it is super cute and works well for raising chicks before they go into the flock outside. If there any issues with it I will update since I just got this today.

BEST brooder set up!!!!
Absolutely phenomenal chick set up. It is SO easy to clean. I used the jute liner for maybe the first week and then after the first clean, I realized it is just super simple to fill it with wood shavings and then clean it out once a week from there. The chicks love it because it’s well ventilated. We also got the water attachment and the brooder plate. The chicks are happy. I’m happy because it doesn't get gross. We have 10 chicks in there currently and that is the perfect/max amount I would have in this brooder.

Great home for babies after the incubator.
Easy to set up and very spacious for a good amount of birds. It has slits so you can run the waterer and heater wire through.Velcro holds the top on and so far is pretty good.

I have the large version & it’s great
The smaller version was too small. Fine for vet visits but I have a kennel box so I returned it. I very much like the large brooder. It has been very excellent. Waterproof, easily cleaned & well ventilated. It gets changed up inside to keep the birds entertained with potted herbs, toys & perches of different types. The rent-a-coop waterer & feeder save floor space. The warmer that comes with the large was perfect for four until they were fully feathered. It fit well in the brooder & its adjustable height was crucial. I surrounded it with the available feather drape & the birds truly relaxed with that sense of mother’s wing. My outdoor coop build has been delayed so this larger brooder is housing four 8 week old chicks. I let them out several times a day in my cordoned off sunroom to clean & let them exercise but for now it does the job of a coop. The latch on the clear doors, which my birds have loved having to watch the outdoors through, is the weak point. It isn’t latching easily anymore. Having to tie it closed. But I recommend this brooder box for your first foray in raising chicks indoors.Update:My fully grown chickens are in their beautiful outside coop & run now. To help with their adjusting to the new space, I put their brooder in their coop. It was a comfort to them during the transition. I thought I would remove it once they were settled in but it’s their one year birthday & they still use it! Two at the time they go into the brooder box to lay their eggs! So they prefer to use it as their nest box despite the coop’s built in nest boxes. It continues to be of service as a comfortable place for them. I bought a second one in case anyone ever needs a “hospital”. It obviously is a familiar place of comfort & if one of them ever needs isolation for tending that will be a helpful advantage. So this product will continue to be beneficial in my pet chicken keeping.

Better than a bucket
Perfect for baby chicks. I kept 5 chicks in this brooder for 6 weeks. I also used it as my hospital or time out for bullies. Easy to clean and store away when not in use.

Not worth it
The add and slides of the pictures are very misleading. Make sure to read what’s included in this because there is a slide that says “what's in the box” and that’s not what’s included. It’s very misleading. Also this is just glorified cardboard so really not worth the price.
