It's unlikely that cables would be a limiting factor when connecting up SAS drives, but nonetheless these cables have no problem handling SAS-3 speeds in excess of 1.5GBps with 4x SSDs. I've bought dozens of these now for work / home that are now in use in a datacenter, an office, and my NAS, absolutely no complaints about the cables themselves.There is a 1 star review for these cables just because the SATA connectors were right-angled (none of mine have arrived with right angled connectors) which to my mind doesn't really warrant more than a 1 star deduction and even then the seller offered to replace their cable.There's also an amusing 3 star review from someone trying to connect the mini-SAS cable to a SATA header on their motherboard... If you're buying this because you want to plug multiple hard drives into a single SATA socket on your motherboard, best do some research beforehand!The SAS ends fit very snugly into whatever RAID / HBA card you're using, so once you hear the click of the metal tab locking the cable in place it's not going to come loose or have any trouble making a solid connection.I did once trap a cable underneath a drive cage which flattened it a bit, but the shielding meant the cable was unaffected (except for now being a bit more 2-dimensional than it used to be). I've never been asked to review the thickness of a cable out of 1-5 stars before... but I can't deduct a star for the cables being too thick or too thin so I suppose that means 5/5.One thing I will say is do yourself a favour and get the 1m cable - I've bought a few of the 0.5m cables, only to have it come up about 10cm short when neatly routed through the case and cable tied. Unless you know exactly the length you need and/or have no plans to ever change chassis or rearrange drives it's only a tiny bit more to get the 1m and it can really make or break your day down the line :)

CAREFUL: I read the descrription and ordered. I did not notice that, although the description says '1m(0.5m)', the default is 0.5m, which I received, whilst I expected the 1m. The 0.5m may be too short for my application. So, make sure you select the correct length when ordering.I have not tested the cable yet as I am still awaiting delivery of the controller. Visibly the cable looks of good quality.

No issues with these cables so far. I have these to attach my M1015 SAS controller card to four SATA hard drives. Just add power to the drives and you are good to go.The cables can be routed easily and the length is good for any ATX case

Item as described and working as expected. Flashed a Dell PERC H310 to IT mode and working well with this cable.
