Less noise but no less quality
The media could not be loaded. These are amazing.Listen to the video and hear the difference between the normal China and the l80sI was skeptical at first but after playing them they do sound like genuine cymbals. Just imagine you’re playing normal cymbals with earplugs in and this is what you get. The hi-hats in particular sound so good. Same feel, just with a much lower volume.Only thing is now the snare and toms are overpowering

Great for the neighbours new baby
Got these in as nextdoor neighbours have just got a baby. Great sounding cymbals at a much lower volume than regular cymbals and better than using silence pads. Still feel like you get lots of attack out and loads better on your ears.

Great for low volume practice
The media could not be loaded. Great set of cymbals for low volume practice. They are a lot quieter than a standard cymbal, meaning you can practice in a bedroom. You can hear your stick hitting over the top of them if you play hard, so they don’t have a great sound, however, that’s the trade off for being able to practice.

Best cymbal innovation ever!
Superb buy. I'm a drum and percussion teacher of over 30 years and this is the best innovation in cymbal tech I can remember. Makes it possible to practice quietly along with mesh heads (such as Remo silent stroke). I have three sets so I can offer a good variety of sizes and have two kits set up for teaching. Absolutely love them

Good sound, very acceptable volume
I use these on a drumkit with mesh head. The overall volume is so low I can easily talk over it. I use the drumkit in an apartment with a tennis balls raiser to avoid "stomping" on the floor. The hi-hat sounds pretty good. The crash sounds a bit like a ride, the ride sounds pretty good too. Sound wise, they sound a bit different from real cymbals, but if your aim is to practice quietly, these guys are good. I've added rubber pads on them to reduce to almost nothing the sound and practice in the evenings. They still sound better and less noisy than real cymbals.

A Great Buy
Surprisingly musical sound at a very much reduced volume. These don't look like the quality cymbals one expects from Zildjian but the sound exceeded expectations. Great stick definition and perfect for home practice.

Five Stars
Great product, sound low enough to not disturb anyone at home, but the sounds are distinct and clear.
