Works great on a wireless security camera
Using the antenna for a battery powered security camera that is about 800ft from the router. Wasn't able to get signal before installing this antenna. Works great now and no issues.

Worked great!
Great price, product and fast shipping. This allowed me to have 10 feet to move an antenna to a better location than the camera for reception. Thanks

Super Easy Install, Great Signal
Used this to an old Hawking WiFi repeater which is on the inside of a large metal garage building where otherwise there's no WiFi or cell phone signal. Mounted this antenna on the outside of the building (on a pole above the building for signal strength actually) and ran the cord through the wall to the repeater. Works great. So now inside the building I can stream TV on the Fire Stick and utilize WiFi calling on my phone to get calls/texts where otherwise before I had a total dead zone for basically all communications.

Works & relatively inexpensive and comes mostly complete, recommend articulating mount
Installed this on a 2.4 & 5 GHz network (specifically a TP-Link EAP225 Outdoor) and it brought my signal to 72 RSSI from 90. To put this into perspective it makes reception OK from unusable. This is about a 320 foot outdoor run to a wireless camera through a moderately wooded area. I'm happy. This does come with a pole bracket. But if you're going to mount it to something directly I recommend getting some kind of articulating mount. I purchased the "Proxicast Universal Wall/Pole Mount Adjustable Articulated Bracket for Outdoor Antennas". Fits the back of the antenna perfectly. No customization required. At this point I highly recommend. Yes, (if your AP has 2 terminal connections) you can leave the stick antenna on the other connection when using this on one of them. Or you could buy two of these and have 2 directional signals to different areas.

I really was hopeful for these, but they simply don't work as router antenna replacements
My home is a ranch style, two level house of appox. 4300 sf. I have two Asus RT-AC86U routers utilizing the Asus AiMesh Router/Node mesh configuration and wired backhaul channel. One router is on the first floor at near mid-point, but in a closet. The other is on the lower floor and relegated to one end of the house for space reasons. The issue I was dealing with was coverage to the furthest reaches of the home on each floor. Each router, while decently powerful, does not produce enough signal strength for full coverage. There some weak spots in the 2.4GHz band and some completely dead spots in the 5GHz band. My hope was to reach the furthest points of the house by stretching the horizontal, and squeezing the vertical spread of the signal with these higher gain antennas. The reason for choosing these units with the 10' cable was to extend the antenna from the closet on the main floor, through the wall, to a less obstructed mounting point at a higher elevation. The intent on the lower floor was the get the antennas closer to the mid-point of the space and also to a higher elevation. For testing purposes I labeled, with post-it notes, 10 distinct locations throughout the home. I then logged the signal strength at each of those locations using a wifi signal meter app. I logged both 2.4GHz and 5GHz utilizing the stock antennas that came with the routers. Once done, I attached these antennas in place of the stock antennas, mounted them in the desired locations, and measured both bands again. The unfortunate result was a consistent reduction in measured signal strength at all 10 testing locations. Disappointed, I tried relocating these antenna thinking maybe they were being interfered with. After moving them however, the results remained the same.I think it was worth a try, and maybe they work better in other applications, but this was not a solution for me and I will be sending them back.I forgot to mention, the build quality was pretty good for a $15 antenna.

Works ok
The only draw back is fairly short wire to run. But it works fine.

Pretty good for being cheap
Bought a King WifiMax for the RV. Test was on our house wifi that I could not connect to through the TV wifi antenna nor the base King WifiMax. Instead of buying the $100 King Swift, I thought Iโd try this. It actually gave me good reception to my home wifi. Only gave 4 stars because I have not mounted outside or tried at RV resort. Will update.

Seems to work! I couldn't get any wifi signal outside & now I can ๐

compatibility of connector
I wish that these companies would supply the diameter of the connector, so that we know it will fit the devices we buy them for. Even better...supply alternate sized connectors.
