Lovely item good value for money

I love this so much I bought a second one for when I’m out and about. It does take some getting used to but once you find the way that works for you it’s great!For me I start without the plunger in and add that in once the first half is positioned right.Some people have said the cord gets caught in the little hole at the bottom. I haven’t had this issue as I leave it hanging in the gap between the “leaves”. This seems to work perfectly well for me. Though you do need to push the plunger all the way in to make sure the tampon does not get pulled out with the applicator.

I really wanted to like this since the only tampons that work for me since having a baby are non-applicator ones but it just doesn’t work how an applicator should. There’s nothing to click the backing into place so trying to hold the end in place while also trying to get the tampon positioned correctly inside is more stressful than it needs to be. The string also needs to be put through a hole on the side which causes it to get stuck. In theory this could be amazing but it needs a lot of work.

I’ve always felt guilty throwing so much plastic away. This is a great little thing to help reduce waste. Fits all tampon sizes and easy to use. Recommend !

My local Council provides free sanitary protection but it's in the form of non-applicator tampons and I can't be dealing with them! This product has really helped. I also like that it reduces plastic waste. It's easy to keep clean and carry around. Can be a bit of a faff to use, but you soon get the hang of it. I would advise caution though, because trust me - you do NOT want to trap a flap!

My wife used this a few times, and has given me her honest review. It's a good size, easy to use with the provided tampons and others she tried out with it - no issues about certain brands not fitting so far! It's a little fiddly to get used to at first, with the string having to go into a certain place, and trying not to 'nip' yourself, but overall - to help the planet and reduce on one-time plastic waste - it's a good item. The tampons themselves are also well made, and don't leak, and the cleaning of the applicator is easy, with either running water or a wipe with a tissue if in public. Made sturdy and well. Would buy from this brand again.

I salute all the sustainable alternatives but almost always they come with some compromises. This product is not an exception and even though you will be saving some plastic from landfills and making our planet greener, you will have to adjust your routine a bit. There are no issues with this applicator use and even the super-size tampon fits in well and slides in with no holdback. It is easy to clean and it doesn't take up much space. The only thing I would like to comment on is storage when on the go. So be prepared to carry it around with you when you are out and about and on a heavy period as you might need to perform a couple of changes outside your home. On this occasion, you need to come up with some sort of bag or pouch and it might not be as pleasant.
