Useful for pulling new elastic into loose comfy outer trousers. Much better than using a safety pin.

only down side is the locking ring on the adjustable tweezer can make it rather difficult to get past any seams

I initially used the large threader tool as recommended, but 4 times it opened up inside the seam whilst trying to thread elastic through waist band. So had to pull it all out and start again! I found that the easiest and quickest method was to actually make a small hole in the elastic , hook the threader through then tighten it. You end up losing about an inch of elastic when you have to cut it off when you get to the end of the job, but I think it’s worth it, less hassle.
