It worked great until it didn't
I have had this milk frother for less than a year. At first, it worked great. Lately, it works about 50 percent of the time. When it does not work, it does not create any foam whatsoever. I use whole milk, not skim milk or plant based milk products. It is really disappointing. I do not recommend this frother.[UPDATE] I Wanted to provide an update. After leaving the above review, the manufacturer contacted me and informed me that my frother was still under warranty. After a process of taking and sending videos and answering questions, they replaced my frother. The new frother is working great so I added a star to reflect the great customer service and the fact that the new frother is working. I am holding off on five stars until I see how long it lasts. In the meantime, given the performance of the frother when it is working, and the great customer service, I do recommend this frother.

Exceeded my expectations and has a larger capacity than others
The media could not be loaded. Bought this to use with my new Nespresso machine. Never used a milk frother before so I was unsure what to expect. My Nespresso machine comes next week so I'm just playing with this right now to see what kind of foam or milk options I want before I ruin the good coffee lol. I wondered if it would work as well as advertised with a larger capacity offered than others. I was happy to have it exceed my expectations!!-Used fresh cold whole milk-Filled to the max frothing lineI made the medium foam first thinking it's what I'd use most and it's thick, perfect for any good "barista" style drink. Even after stirring and letting it sit the foam does not disolve quickly. It sits on top well and once you stir it in it thickens the drink nicely. The high foam is what you would use if you want really stiff foam for your latte or cappuccino. Turns out the low foam is a perfect amount for a regular at-home coffee that you just want a little topping on. I used the the maximum milk capacity for frothing and you can get 2-3 drinks worth at once depending on the type of drink you're making and the size of cup you want. Using the minimum will probably be plenty for one drink at a time and I tend to use larger mugs for my drinks at home. I haven't tried the hot chocolate mode yet, but my next experiment is going to be adding a little bit of a flavored creamer to the milk to see if I can get flavored foam. Will attempt to update when I do.Almost forgot to add, the "fine sponge" it comes with to clean is pretty much a joke. I had no idea what it was when I first opened the box and actually took it apart lol It is just a piece of sponge in a clamp... yes clamped. It's weird but I guess it does work. I tried it just to see what it would do. It cleans, but the downside is if you're not careful the metal will scrape the inside. But it is handy if you're going to clean it out and make another either hot milk or foam right away.

Great, but missing one feature
I have an espresso machine with an attached wand, but it's loud, annoying to clean, and finicky to use. I got this in the hopes it would replace it, which, generally, it has. It's NOT the same thing. So if you love steamed milk exactly as your espresso machine makes it, this won't give you that. But it'll give something very close and suitable. The lid is super secure, the pieces are very easy to clean, it has a relatively small footprint, and it looks nice. It's also very quiet. I like that I can make just enough for me to have a latte, or enough for 3-4 people to have lattes. This machine is not super powered or fast, but it also hasn't scalded the milk, so I'll take it.I've tried this with all half & half, and part half & half and part oat milk. The all half & half froths the best of course, but even the oat/half split froths nicely on the higher temp + froth levels.THE ONLY CON: there are no measurements inside the steamer. That means you either need to measure in another container and then pour it in (making another cup to rinse) or eyeball it, in which case you end up with very different cup sizes. I'm considering scratching in an 8 oz line as a guide because I could use that as a general guide. If I could buy an inside part with measurements, it's the only thing I'd pick up and change. Otherwise, the machine does what I want it to, how I want it to.TESTS:160F & highest froth & all whisk pieces: This test took foreverrrr (I didn't time it), but it basically was a giant fluff. I used it to make a chai (I actually mixed the powder INTO the milk and it worked well), but it was basically like drinking a cloud. Instant read thermometer said it was about 155F.140F & medium froth & 2 whisk pieces: This ends up hotter than my steamer makes milk, with the instant read getting about 140F on it, actually. Low level froth, but close to what hand-steaming does.120F & high froth & all whisk pieces: This is the closest to the espresso machine. I checked that with the instant thermometer and it usually ends up around 120F-ish, but is more frothy than the machine makes it. I think because it's only going to 120F heating, it doesn't have long enough to fully froth. However, this is the best for timing because I can start this, clean, prep, and brew my espresso, and the milk finishes slightly before the espresso is done brewing.

My Daughter In Law Loves it.
Bought this for my Daughter in Law for Christmas and she loves it. She has a lot of allergy issues and cannot buy store bought coffee. The ability to do her own cream made her day.
