Winter dragged on so long and we waited to get the dog's spring cut so he wouldn't get cold. Unfortunately, that meant his fur got matted in a lot of places no matter how often we brushed him. Knowing the groomers would shave him down rather than take the time to trim the mats and brush him out, I found this grooming set and figured I would at least trim out the worst of the mats before we took him to be groomed.Instead, I gave him a full cut myself using this great little set. He was happy (he hated getting groomed), I was happy (it's a great set at a fabulous price), and my extended family was totally surprised when they saw him and learned I had done it myself.As a bonus, I got a super friendly email from the seller with links to several helpful grooming instructional videos the day the product shipped.I would absolutely buy this product again or recommend it to a friend looking for an at-home grooming option. This is a great little set for dog grooming. I am not a professional dog groomer - If you saw my dog you'd believe that - but this is a very nice set for my use. It has three pair of scissors. All three are very sharp and they are comfortable. One of the three is for thinning and I find it very useful on my Yorkie's head, both on the top and on the sides. I have used sewing scissors and nurses' scissors and I finally decided I would take the plunge and get something nicer. I like the little case that it all fits in. Very convenient and organized. I would not hesitate to recommend this set.

Nice quality item and great service! The scissors are sharp and cut well. They sent video links that helps me understand how to trim my dog properly. The curved scissors are useful for getting around my dog's eyes and the comb is useful to smooth out the knots on the hair. It even comes with a case to keep everything in together. I'll definitely recommend this to anyone that is looking to trim their dogs.

I was really looking forward to receiving this set. I have a 11 month old Bichon who I like to touch-up a bit between professional groomings. I was very disappointed since the curved scissor was extremely dull and would not cut my puppy's hair. I am returning for a different set.

The price is right, you can't beat it! The kit is easy to use and the company has outstanding customer service. The instruction videos they sent were easy to follow.Some tips: Check your email for the video instructions. I almost missed it. Follow the video instruction and you will have no trouble grooming your dog or cat. Even if it's your first time learning how to groom, the links provided were extremely helpful. I definitely recommend this kit if you are interested in grooming your pets yourself at home.

very pleased with the set. The case is well made and feels nice in the hand, when I opened it the scissors and accessories looked like good quality so I tried them out on my Chow and was surprised at how well they worked. I've only used them once but am very satisfied with the quality of the whole set, would certainly purchase them again.

I got this set for a really good price, but they're not too sharp. I tried cutting my dog's hair with them yesterday, and it was frustrating because they weren't cutting well. Eventually, I just gave up and used my fabric cutting scissors instead, which always worked well for my dog's hair.

Love this set! Very good quality scissors, even trims to the very tip! I really like the thinning shears; they do the job they're supposed to do. The comb and zippered pouch give it, even more, bang for your buck! Will get allot of use on all my furry babies!
