Outstanding Quality and Value
This is an outstanding compact Digital SLR. Takes great photos right out of the box, for those that want to take great pictures just pop on the 18-55mm lens, set to Auto mode and forget it. The lenses included will cover just about anything you could want to photograph, the kit lenses are great. The 18-55mm should cover just about anything you would want to shoot while the 70-300mm covers the rest, with the high ISO capability of the camera you can get great handheld images with both lenses. The touch screen makes navigating the menus incredibly easy, I am used to Canon menus but after a thorough reading of the manual can get through these easily and quickly. The difference in price for the touch screen and the snapbridge connectivity was definetely worth the extra cost over the D3400 and D5500, although the picture quality should be exactly the same. The quality of the photographs is better than my Sony A6000 and the lenses in the kit give you much more capability at a significantly lower cost than any mirrorless camera. Snapbridge works great once you figure it out, most of the negative comments seem to come from users that never read the manual. Good battery life. The great thing about this camera is you can set it and forget it (full auto) or take control over just about every aspect of the camera easily and quickly.Update: Nikon released an update improving connectivity to SnapBridge, works seamlessly now.

An excellent purchase for a first time photographer!
This bundle is a fantastic entry into the world of digital photography. Getting a camera along with a standard lens and a telephoto lens gives you a solid foundation to start with. The Nikon D5600 is easy to use and there are a ton of setup and basic use videos on YouTube to help you get started. The 18-55mm kit lens works great. I have some pretty shaky hands but the vibration reduction of the lens has given me great images. The 70-300mm lens does not have any vibration reduction so really can only be used with a tripod (especially when zoomed all the way in to 300mm). If you plan on doing any long range photography a tripod is a must. The image quality when using a tripod is fantastic.I bought the following accessories along with this bundle to get started: a camera bag, tripod, spare battery, travel battery charger, 128GB SD card (required as the camera has no internal storage) and a memory card reader. There are, of course, many more things I want to get but these are a good start and will let you start using this camera in a myriad of ways.

Great Camera!
Great camera! This is my first DSLR camera and Nikon made this so easy to learn and use. Both lenses have fast and accurate autofocus, and the camera takes awesome photos even just in auto mode. The touch screen makes it easier to use as well.

Wonderful pictures
Perfect package for me. The photos turned out amazing and so easy to use as a re starter I have had a few cameras over the years but they were all FILM. I used the cell phone camera took great pics but wanted something more for an Alaskan cruise. ANd it was a quality product easy to use. I actually set the entire camera up with u-tube so many helpful websites.

Nikon D5600 DSLR
This camera replaces my trusty old Nikon E995. I like it. The D5600 is faster, more versatile and a big improvement. The capacity to change a lens allows for greater coverage and sharper long range focus. My only disappointment lies in that individual exposed frame numbers revert to start at 1, after I delete images from the memory card. I generally rename an image anyway, but loosing ongoing sequential numbering is very annoying... and can potentially overwrite a previously saved hard drive image, if not paying attention and renaming.

Great features for the money
This camera does SO MUCH. I'm new to any camera and photography so it can be overwhelming. There are lots of resources and videos to help you start out though. Definately a great quality camera with awesome functions for the price!

I was looking for fast focus. I found it!
The Nikon 5600 is the fastest and most accurate focuser I've owned, and I've owned many over the decades. The 70-300 kit lens is surprisingly light, compact and sharp. All of the attached photos were taken with it. It is a pleasure to be able to capture fast-moving objects with consistency. I'm enjoying photography more right now (in my mid-60's) than I have for many years. I plan to upgrade to the VR version of this lens as soon as I can afford it. That will hopefully make my success rate even higher than it is now. The 24 MB sensor in the 5600 is a real winner. It allows me to crop subjects close during post-editing (Adobe Elements) and still have a decent-sized image to work with. Between the focusing, sensor size and good optics, I'm in photography heaven right now. Forget about the 5600 being referred to as a beginner's camera, or an entry-level camera, or whatever silly title reviewers and "experts" enjoy attaching to it. It has always been roughly nine parts photographer and one part camera when it comes to taking fine photos. As difficult as it is for me to admit it, technological advancements over the last 10 years may have actually changed that ratio to seven parts photographer and three parts camera.

Nikon vs Canon
I absalutley love this camera. It is my first DSLR and I could not decide if I wanted to get the Cankn eos 77d or this. I purchased both o get a feel for them and ultimately ended up returning the Canon. I think the picture quality in the Nikon is better than the Cankn and it just felt right in my hand. It feels more sturday and more premium than the Canon. I love how small the body is. This camera can do a lot of things as well! I am still leaning and firming it out but overall I am more than pleased! On paper I could not decide between the two, but once it was in my hand I just knew the the Nikon was for me. I would totally recommend this. The SnapBridge app is horrendous but I know Nikon will fix it up! So far I am completely happy and not looking back with this purchase!
