Excellent
Bought this to repair a lava lamp. Not difficult to install perfect size definitely worth the money.it functions 2years later.solid build and looks like it never was replaced.

This is NOT a dimmer switch. It is a single pole "On-Off" switch.
This is not a dimmer switch even though it is advertised as such. It's a direct replacement for your run of the mill in-line rotary ON/OFF switch--and not a high quality one at that.And thanks to the housing on this cheap HAHIYO unit being longer than the one I was replacing, I will likely have to replace the entire cord now since these in-line switches work by puncturing the insulation around the wires. Great.

Too easy!
The switch was simple to install and performs exactly as it should. I read some of the negative reviews. As long as you treat it like the piece of hard plastic it is, and don't over-tighten the screw, I think it should work fine for you.

This item does not break both wires as advertised.It is a single pole switch.Works fine as a lamp switch.

This is easy
I'm no electrician and don't even like working on it. But with switch there really isn't any fear. Unplug your lamp loosen the screw disassemble. Replace with the new switch. Done. Plug the light in, turn it on, read a book.

Worried That It's Not Going to Last Very Long
This was easy enough to install but it does not turn well when switching the lamp off or on so I'm concerned it's going to break soon.
