Elemis Pro-Collagen Advanced Eye Treatment 0.5 Fluid Ounce

This product isn't a miracle worker for dark bags etc but it is excellent at moisturising and getting rid of fine lines. I suffer from very bad eczema around my eyes and have to be really careful with what products I use. This has been really gentle on my skin and have massively helped with my eczema. It is watery in texture, but you have to pat it on and then leave it to soak into your skin. I have attached a picy but have seen a huge marked improvement in the texture of my skin, wrinkles and darkness.

I've been using this as instructed for a little over 5 weeks, and though the pack has maybe only another 4-5 days uses left in, I wont be repurchasing.I've been completely converted to Elemis products; I'm obsessed with the cleansing balm (a true wonder product), and love the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream Anti-wrinkle Day and Night version. I've always had laughter lines around my eyes, and since turning 35 (Im now 40) these have been a lot more noticeable, so I wanted to try something from Elemis targeting this area.I bought this serum based on the high rating - however I think for me, its not the right product.First, the serum is very watery; This doesnt bother me too much, in that it is easy to apply and means it feels light (though I personally prefer thicker creams for the comfort they provide) - but I dont really think the packaging is ideal for this watery formulation.The pack is a pump bottle with a lid, which looks great - but being watery, unless you hold the nozzle close to your finger and SLOWLY pump it out, it jets out and either shoots off your hand or sprays all over the place!I found also that you can only see how much is left if you hold the pack up to a bright light, and if I skipped use for a couple of days, the nozzle would block with a sort of jelly like "scab" that had to be pulled out with a pin.Packaging aside for a moment, this watery serum takes a little while to "dry" before you can add your moisturiser, which is fine - but I get the feeling that its this drying that reduces the lines - i.e. it superficially tightens the skin rather than doing anything long term; because yes, if I allow it to dry fully before I put my moisturiser on, the finest lines disappear - but shortly after application of moisturiser, those lines re-emerge. And over the weeks of use, I didnt see any long term improvement beyond what using the moisturiser creams had given me.The biggest problem though for me, is that if I use this serum before using the Elemis Pillow Plump mask or the Ultra Rich version of the Collagen cream, I get bright red irritation marks that show a perfect outline of where Ive applied the serum, and these last for several hours before fading.All in all then, I will still be a fan of Elemis in general, but I wont buy this product again. I cant recommend it for effective wrinkle reduction; maybe if you need an "emergency fix" for very fine lines or puffiness - but otherwise - nah!

Hmm, I've used this over a month now, and quite frankly it's not doing anything. I had high hopes for it after buying anotherof their products, but this really didn't work, to the extent that I'm questioning whether it's a genuine product, particularly since it was sold in a Lightning Deal. As it is, I won't be buying again, and I think I'll order my other Elemis products via the company website from now on.

I use a lot of Elemis products and swap around some of the ones I choose from time to time, but this eye treatment is the one that I use twice daily, every day, without fail. It has a very thin consistency and thus it is easy to dab on the delicate under eye area without dragging the skin. The pump allows you to dispense just the drop you need for each eye and the serum is absorbed pretty quickly, so you don’t have to worry about using it in the morning before you go out.I love the way it leaves the skin feeling plumped and refreshed and a bottle lasts such a long time it feels like it offers brilliant value.

I wanted to target the lines and wrinkles around my eye area. This area was also very dry. When it arrived its a gel formula. It took away the dry skin. But..... if you use too much and then use a night cream on top. You can feel the gel rolling off when it's dried underneath the night cream. It did nothing for the lines and wrinkles so wouldn't buy again.
