Great quality, solid machine.
I am loving this machine! I love the thread cutter and the leg bar that lifts and lowers the foot. The tension was perfect right out of the box! The extension table that is included has 6 adjustable legs. The foot pedal operation is smooth and responsive. It's such a solid machine. I'm so happy I decided on this Juki.

Absolutely LOVE this machine!!
This machine is so fast, and so easy to use, I LOVE it!! I have several sewing machines ranging from antique to computerized (O.k., 7 🙄🤣) and this Juki is by far my favorite. It’s metal so it’s very sturdy and doesn’t bounce around on the table when I hit the high speeds. It reminds me of the sturdiness of the heavy duty antique machines with the quietness of the new models. When quilting my quilt, I lowered the feed dogs, set the speed limit lower, and kept my foot pedal all the way down. It was so much easier only having to worry about moving the quilt under the presser foot and not having to worry about keeping my foot in the exact spot to keep the needle speed steady. WOW! What a difference! I will soon be purchasing some accessories (even feed foot especially) and I will rarely need to use my computerized machine. I do quilting and garment construction and this machine is great for both! Buying from Juki Junkies was a great decision! I saw feedback about other companies that didn’t have very good customer service reviews, so I went with Juki junkies. Upon unboxing the machine I noticed the automatic needle threader was broken (manufacturer packaging). I immediately contacted Juki Junkies and they had a replacement in the mail right away (and this during a hurricane!). I would absolutely buy from Juki Junkies again, and can’t say enough good things about this sewing machine!

Worst possible
1. The machine stopped working after a month of use - just after the return window has closed at Amazon. Initially started suddenly cutting the thread in the middle of the seam. Than it would continue the seam, leaving a gap, where it has cut the thread. The thread tension is normal. The spool barrel was clean. Nothing being stuck in the mechanism. We deed all the steps by the manual - did not help. Than it has stopped working altogether.2. I am an experienced seamstress with 20+ years of experience and needed a sturdy reliable and stable machine for making garments. My working horse was a Janome machine which was geared towards hoobby use and after 15 years of daily use is starting to wear out. Juki seemed to be a good alternative as it indeed does not vibrate much during operation. Also it was capable of working with a range of thicknesses. That is until it stopped working.3. Warranty struggle - I was not able to register it for warranty for 4 months. I would fill out the form on the page and click “submit’” and nothing would happen. I did the same form over and over again on my computer, using Crome, Firefox, Edge and Google. I did it on my iPad and the phone - it would not work. I tried calling their customer service - there would be no response, just the voice mail. I left many messages. Started writing them e-mails. They responded with “very sorry” and “the webpage is broken” and we’ll register the machine for you - AND THEY DID NOT. After two weeks of waiting, I’ve contacted them through the e-mail again and got a response that the page is running and I should go ahead and do the registration myself. The CATCH: it is now past 90 days of the purchase and it is past the deadline, specified in the instruction. I did go to the page - it has accepted the info this time, but the warranty is not valid. And the machine broke way before.4. Repeated finger injury with the threading mechanism - I am used to not having any sharp hooks on the side of my needle and keep on cutting my fingers on the side of the threading mechanism, when lifting the lever to release the fabric.

This is a powerhouse machine. I love it!! Sews great and fast. Not a machine for sissy’s. I put 8 fold fabric through just to try and it was no problem
