I’m in a using non-toxic products phase in my life since I got sick almost 1.5 years ago. I want to replace everything we use in my house. Everything has something that’s toxic to your body.I bought this repair cleansing gel because it didn’t have any listed ingredients flagged by EWG or Clearya. If flagging of the ingredients didn’t appear, I searched the ingredients one by one in the ewg site to ensure it was in the “green” zone.For 8oz, it cost $32 on Amazon. I found this to be very expensive. But this is one heat protector that I found that met the clean ingredient requirement I now have.The smell is strong but later dissipates. The spray bottle is easy to use. I don’t know how this helps against heat damage but I do appreciate the ingredients.

I love that this product has non toxic ingredients and is switch natural approved! I always use it before drying/applying heat to my hair. The smell is nice too!

Woo hoo! The hype is true! I'm getting so tired of reading great reviews for something which turned out not to be great at all, then looking back at the reviews and realizing they were all either fake reviews, or "received this item free of charge but the opinions are my own" rubbish. But this - yes, you have to get it. Now, I can only speak for somebody who has super fine baby hair which I also get colored. I needed something light and non chemical smelling which gave just a tiny bit of moisture to my thirsty ends, because everything else makes my hair look like i just poured a bucket of oil on it. And this did EXACtly what I needed, and the smell is just insane. If you could bottle 'healthiness' as a smell, this would be it. fresh, herby, lemony, super natural, not a hint of anything chemical. Am really really glad i bought it. In fact I'm dying to try out some of the other products in their line. If this is THAT good - who knows? (Maybe after I've gotten through my 'graveyard draw' of things I bought on a whim and that my hair didn't like!)

So happy with my hair product. This will help a lot; especially with the cold winter we just had. Your hair can dehydrate, also, and leave room for more breakage. Love this “all natural” leave-in conditioner with no chemicals. My curly hair loves it. Many thanks! :)

I love this brand and the heat protector. I have very fine hair and wanted a heat protector free of alcohol, parabens, sulfates and silicones, I was very skeptical at first because the thought of using oil in my hair made me think my hair was going to greasy, so not true! I have found through trial and error that you have to apply this spray liberally and allow it to soak for about 5 minutes before blow drying. It leaves my hair super soft, shiny, manageable, and not greasy whatsoever. I have received numerous compliments on my hair lately (I'm a guy) and contribute it to this product. As far as the naysayers who bring up the concern of "cooking your hair", simply put they are misinformed.... Every oil has a smoke point (the point at which the oil begins to burn), the primary ingredient in this protector is grapeseed oil which has a smoke point beyond 450F, therefor it will not burn or burn your hair unless it is warmed to temperatures beyond it's max smoke point. Wonderful product. Will buy again.

This leave-in stacks up well: smells great but not overwhelming, doesn’t weigh hair down, has made my hair SUPER SOFT! The texture of my hair is similar to cotton candy, so using the spray generously and all over hasn’t eliminated all my frizz, but it has brought me oh so far. I’m really tickled to find this clean and effective product - highly recommend!

Not only does my hair look nice, this leave in conditioner smells so good. I hate perfumed cosmetics and hair products. This is not heavily fragranced. It has a light and fresh scent that I love.
