This is a simple 3x3x3 shape mod… might be a new challenge for speed solvers, but no new algorithms
I just got interested in twisty puzzles that require different algorithms but I’m not good at separating the shape mods from new mechanisms until I have them in my hands - this is a classic cube with corners sliced off to make the ufo shape. Once you look straight on at one of the square stickers, the embedding in a 3x3x3 classic cube can’t be unseen. Mixed up, it’s a challenge but the underlying math is the same as the one I had in the early 1980’s.

They have an intentionally empty square - no cover for adjuster screw
I added a pic of the side they don't show... an open square that I was so convinced was missing a cover, I ordered a replacement; it wasn't an accident. Both toys were missing the same piece. The stickers feel like poor quality paper. The only nice thing I can say is that it turns smoothly. I would not recommend.

Great puzzle
It is an excellent puzzle. It is a challenging take on the traditional 3x3. It turns very well. I am giving it four stars because the stickers are starting to peel up a bit. They would do better with a stickerless version.

Jams horribly, moves like it's full of grit
"Speed cube" ??? It's the highest friction cube of any shape that i've ever purchased (out of maybe 30 puzzles).Some reviewers correctly point out that math of this puzzle is interesting. OK, then this is a rotten implementation of an interesting puzzle. There are many manufacturers of these puzzles, including manufacturers that make cubes that are smooth mechanically as well as interesting mathematically. You want one of them, not this.
