Amazing flashlight but overstates 1000 lumen run time.
My wife uses this flashlight when walking the dog in our neighborhood when it is dark out. She loves the 1000 lumen light output. When she is walking you can see her all the way down the block. She says it gives her an amazing view of the surrounding area. Now to the downside. She has not yet gotten more then 34 minutes of run time using the 1000 lumen setting. We bought a second one (not cheap at over $200 a pop)! It also never ran more than 31 minutes on the 1000 lumen setting. We sent one of them back to Surefire and they tested them and claimed it ran for 61 minutes. If they say so.....So in summary. The wife loves the flashlight. Just don't expect it to run on the brightest setting for more than 35 minutes.

Useful triple brightness levels and comfy for carry
I have owned many Surefire products over the years. As always, this one is durable; built with Surefire's great materials. It has triple brightness settings with a convenient programming mode to start at the output you prefer. Useful thumb button on the tail for instant max light and strobe. Very comfortable shape to carry in the front pocket as it's "flatter" than similar brightness units I own. The only minor concerns (same with all high-output flashlights) are a) only OK battery life (with what I consider average use - daily or every other day charging is required) and b) when using the max brightness the front frame will get hot after only ~10 seconds; so give it a few to cool before you put in back in your pocket. Even so it's my favorite EDC flashlight by far!

Speed Queen tested! Passed
I forgot to take this out of my pocket and my wife’s Speed Queen decided to clean it, now it smells like tide and works perfectly fine, that’s a true test of durability for me, passed with flying colors and smells good also!!

Excellent light.
I abuse my handheld lights pretty bad, and I don’t have a long list of things I expect. A bright, push button output for and a lower output constant on are huge benefits, and not having to twist a cap to get the desired results is nice. Having the buttons in different locations makes it easy to know for sure what you’re getting. The battery life is good, and given the state of technology, having a rechargeable flashlight should be a given. In short, simple, utilitarian, one-handed use, and rechargeable. Short of having a strobe option, it’s more or less the ideal everyday carry light.

Product is great!
The light works better than expected but hopefully surefire comes out with an upgraded version that takes a C-type charger.

A beast of a flashlight.
Careful. This thing gets hot rather quickly but man will it light up the world. Almost too bright. Quality made product.

Tough, Quality Sure-Fire Light
Good stuff, as usual, from a great company. The shape and pocket clip allow me to keep it handy in my front pocket for quick deployment. Two switches (primary and tactical), multiple modes and compact size makes this a very versatile tool. I'm pretty hard on my gear, which is why I stepped up to the Pro model.Being a flashlight freak, I'll most likely pair it with my other Surefire lights.Good seller. Fast turnaround.

Does not last
For a "Surefire" I was expecting the ability to last. This light for how much it Costed is not worth the money. The light after 2 months has developed a dark circle In the middle causing dimming to the light in general and is permanently effected. I would say the light has barely 100 lumens after normal use for 2 months. Do not recommend until flaws are repaired. Especially for the price of the light.
