Very helpful when adding weight to your machine
These are great for adding weight to your machine. I have found them very beneficial, good quality and should fit most black pulldown machines.

Simple but Smart Fix for a Common Weight Stack Problem
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Weight training definitely has its quirks, and there’s an entire industry built around solving them. When you train with dumbbells, you can increase the weight in 5-pound increments. When you train with a barbell, you can use smaller or fractional plates to increase in just about any amount you want. But standard 1-to-1 cable weight stacks usually jump in 10-pound increments. On some machines, it’s 20. That can slow your progress, especially if you’re not quite ready for that next big jump in resistance.Unless you have something like this: the Body-Solid Weight Stack Adapter Plate. It’s very easy to use. You just slide it onto the guide rod and rest it on top of the weight stack. It’s made from solid, durable rubber, so you can quickly remove it with one hand and just drop it out of the way during drop sets without worrying about breaking anything. It takes up almost no storage space.This adapter adds 5 pounds to your stack (mine actually weighs 5.4 pounds), and it’s a great way to make smaller, more manageable progress with your lifts. I’m not sure if it fits all functional trainers, but I use it with a Fringe Sport Dane and it works perfectly.Definitely worthwhile if you use a cable machine and want more control over your weight increments.

Was thinking it was supposed to fit on center shaft which did not. Very pleased when I realized they fit on outside shafts! 😊

5lb extra weight for cable machines
Great item—true 5 lbs—albeit I had to cut off some of the enclosure that sits around my weight stack in order to get this to fit onto the stack. It could have been 1/8 inch thinner on each opening, end to end, and in the middle. The ad did say it was made to fit certain machine setups. If the weight stacks on my machine did not have a metal cover hiding most of the plates, it would have worked well. Anyway, the problem was solved with a little metal snipping and burring.
