Model Updated: Worthy of Five-Stars!
NEWEST UPDATE: 3 (9/2022)I am amazed by the response I received from Anker on my original somewhat negative Amazon review regarding their original product release that had some design issues (original reviews below).I am very happy to report that after all these years, Anker sent me a replacement. It's their newly designed handheld vacuum cleaner, and as such, they fixed their design imperfection. This handheld is amazing. It's VERY powerful and as I indicated in my original review before, it's portable enough to place anywhere without being noticed. I would urge you to consider this model before any other. Anker has gone to considerable lengths to redesign this product. This is the best portable vacuum I have ever used in both form and function.=================UPDATE 2: Been working with Eufy Customer Service which has been absolutely outstanding.I just want to say that although I feel there are some design issues that are keeping this beautifully designed vacuum from being everything I need it to be, Eufy has been just incredible in listening to my feedback (and that of others here) and putting it to good use.I think this is still the best-designed product of its kind available. I have not bought a replacement due the fact that none of the dozens of other vacuums come close to the quality of the design of this particular one. You may have better experiences with it than I.====================UPDATE 1: I really need to update this review.Been using this vacuum for a few weeks now. At first, I loved it. You can see exactly how much by my review below. However, more and more I see the flaws in the design of this Eufy product. The big problem is that it is basically a dust blower. It lets out a lot of air that blows dust around and unless you have the nozzle at a perfect angle, the brush is going to just push the dust around without actually picking up anything.Additionally, as the battery goes down (and it does rather quickly) so does the suction power.Eufy is a great company. I am really surprised that they rushed this product out without really making certain it worked properly.I am going to look for something else while putting this vacuum in storage.===== Original Review Below =====If you haven't heard EUFY, they are a sub-company of ANKER, one of the most respected manufacturers of cables, chargers and other electronic devices.EUFY was launched about two years ago and I own one of their very first products, a humidifier that you can read a review about by clicking on my username. EUFY has become a label for releasing quality devices for the home. When I saw that EUFY was offering this hand vacuum, I immediately placed my order. You see, I own two dogs, one of which is a pug that sheds wildly. There is usually hair all over my Macbook Pro keyboard and it becomes quite a hassle trying to remove it.This vacuum does a great job of dealing with small issues like these.First, it's very portable -- much smaller than most other hand vacuums that rely on a large charger stand and usually sit tucked away on the floor because it's too bulky to keep in plain sight. As a matter of fact, because of its very handsome, "classy" design, you could keep this device out in plain sight and most people would never even realize that it's a vacuum. This is due to the fact that the vacuum has a rotating cap that covers its spout and allows it to free stand on a side table without attracting any attention to itself. To use, simply grab the vacuum with your hand, unscrew the cap, and then power it on.This vacuum does pack quite a bit of suction for its size. It's perfect for picking up food crumbs, dog hair or any kind of small debris. One thing I think will impress you about this vacuum is its accessory tool. I have never seen anything like it. It's a 2-in-1 crevice tool. Now, most hand vacuums will include these tools separately. However, EUPHY has created an ingenious design that combines both tools into a single one thanks to locking slide functionalities. It's the most clever thing I have seen in recent memory.I have just finished reading two Amazon complaints that I would like to address...First, the complaint that this uses a micro-usb to charge. I don't know why anyone would have an issue with that. Certainly, EUPHY wanted to keep this portable and having micro-usb over a larger plug certainly helped keep the build of this vacuum as portable as possible.Thought the vacuum does come with a micro-usb charging cord, it does not include the charging brick. The omission of a charging brick is usually done to keep the costs down. However, the product description does state that you can use the 5w or larger bricks that you use to charge your iPhone, iPad or Android devices. The other complaint concerns the build of the filter. I have to admit, I don't know anything about it and I am concerned about one review that attacks the flawed design of the inner filter. This could be a valid concern and it is my hope that if it is, EUPHY does a recall on initial sales to allow those that purchased the original version to get one that has been corrected. Again, I can't sit here and say there is a problem but I do implore EUPHY to investigate the claim and make good on those of us who purchased this initial release.Outside of that, I am very impressed with this hand vac. I was really tired of larger vacuums that stuck out like a sore thumb, were very noisy, and didn't do a great job of getting rid of little things like dog hair on a computer keyboard. This vacuum is specifically designed for "the little things" and thus far, performs its task beautifully.Highly recommended!

Great convenient effective portable hand vac
I never wanted this, but it was part of a bundle that got me a big discount on a robovac/mop. But now that I've used it a while it's really been a great tool for quick, small tasks. Super convenient, simple to use, and works well for pickups. I mostly pick up pet hair tumbleweeds, but I'm sure it could pick up heavier debris as well. Don't count on it appreciably cleaning your car or something.

Necessary for moms
To the mamas out there…. Get this!! I keep it in the car to suck up the crumbs that my messy toddler spills. Crumbs all over the floor, the car seat, etc. only thing I don’t like it sometimes the stuff it sucks up will fall out if it’s turned upside down on accident. Otherwise, it’s a pretty good portable vacuum

Years later: it's worth it, despite minor drawbacks
Very powerful and convenient. I love that I can charge it with USB. The waste receptacle looks a bit small, but had never been a problem for me since this is not my only vacuum cleaner. I like the build quality of the filters and that the user manual encourages one to wash them out. (Yay for environmental consciousness.)A few very minor caveats: when charging, there is no easy way to store all the parts. You can either stand it up in a cup (included), which means the brush attachment is loose, or you lay it on its side, which could cause the charging port to break off when it rolls over the cord. I ditched the cup and leave the brush attached, placing it across the top of the open box it came in so there is no pressure on the USB cable. This could have been solved if they had put the charging port along the axis, like at the back of the handle.Second caveat: I've had this for a couple years now and the battery no longer charges to 100%. I get two out of three of the lights showing, which significantly reduces the suction. That said, even at reduced capability, it still is way more powerful than the minivac a friend of mine bought after she envied my Eufy. One warning sign she could have noticed for her purchase: while Eufy describes the suction in terms of kPa (pressure), her brand advertised itself in RPM and watts, which is useless for comparing how effective it is.Final caveat: the Eufy packaging, while adorable, says nothing about how to replace the battery. Many products these days are designed to be unopenable, which means they must be discarded when the built in battery dies (as they all do after a few years). This has caused an increase in the amount of electronic waste being tossed in landfills. The build quality of this unit is superb, so one would expect that it would be designed to be repairable. Someday, perhaps next year, I'm going to have to take a screwdriver to my Eufy to replace the weak battery. It's probably a standard NiMH or LiPoly. I hope that when I call Eufy customer service, they'll tell me how it is done, perhaps pointing me to iFixit for instructions and parts. But, whether that happens or not, I wish the company had gone the extra step of making this foreseeable repair easy for all their customers, not just the geeks with soldering guns, like me.

Fantastic Cleaning Tool That's Worth Every Penny
I would recommend this product without a doubt. The effortless cleaning it provides is a breath of fresh air and the USB charging is wonderfully convenient. Its compact size and simple storage options make it easy to keep out of sight when not in use. Plus, the cordless design is a life saver, no more tripping over cords. A terrific cleaning tool that's lightweight and powerful!
