Springrain Men's Wool Blend Pea Coat Notched Collar Single Breasted Overcoat Warm Winter Trench Coat

We bought this for my hubs to wear to a special occasion that came up very quickly. I was skeptical because it was a quick purchase and the price was low. It came on time and in great condition. The fit was good, the quality of the fabric and garment construction was good. The coat is actually quite soft. It was worth the price and looked very nice on hubs. We had to stand outside in very cold and windy weather and the coat kept him reasonably warm. During regular winter days it is a very warm coat.

I’m actually not as upset as I thought. Okay the coat feels great in my medium size. Fabric and material are good…. except for the material used for the pockets. My very first time putting my hands in the left pocket and the stitching busted immediately. Pocket stitching should definitely not be cheapened!!! Customers are putting important things in the pockets and who wants to worry if it goons slide out from the inside?!!

The fabric was MUCH lighter weight than was described, but much more important was the fact that this coat was at LEAST two sizes smaller than the label indicated. I have lost hundreds of pounds, and while an XL overcoat usually fits me now, I ordered a 2XL in this so it'd fit loose. Not only wasn't it loose, it fit me a little tighter than a Carhartt Large coat fits me. I have only the highest praise for Amazon who were LIGHTNING fast to get me my refund with no problem, but I won't buy anything from Springrain again. I'll gladly continue to buy from Amazon, though, thank you Jeff. Great customer service.

So I've gone through a couple of different mens peacoat brands and style, having returned each because of inaccurate size or quality of material not being worth the money spent. However, I took a chance on this brand and ONLY after doing careful research by reading customer reviews and seeing how the coat looked on each individual... I took my last gamble and it paid off big time! So I'm 5'10 and have a slim/muscular frame and after trying it on... It fit perfectly. It's not baggy nor is it too tight where I can't button it up. Granted... I won't wear sweaters or bulky shirts because that's where it'll become constricted. The lining is thin, too, so it's good for Autumn or warm winter conditions. One of the best parts I like is that this coat runs in length like a quarter trench coat so it hangs by my mid thigh.. Let's just say I've been looking for a quarter trench peacoat and I happened to win big with this selection, yet again! As far as quality, it definitely is wool blend with a softer side to the wool so it's not itchy or coarse to the touch. If your looking for a fashionable coat that'll make you look "made"... I'd definitely recommend this coat.

Please allow me to share what I know about this Jacket. It’s clear understanding that we are using our cloth’s jacket for few things like putting keys or some small things inside of our jacket pocket.According to my experiences, you will NOT able to have that useful opportunity with this Jacket because the seller tried to save money and choose to use very very poor products to inside jacket. The pocket of this jacket will only last 1 to 7 day only. Specially if you try to put ur car key inside. To make long store short, the inside products of this jacket is just strong as toilet paper. Your finger can easily TEAR the Pocket of this Jacket forget about the Keys. I can’t imagine what kind human bin who make such poor job on their products. I hope they will consider using real cloth on inside of this beautiful Jacket because, the inside materials are USELESS and NOT worthy to spend $1 dollars on this jacket. Having said, the outside materials are ok. If you not going to use pocket, I think is ok to own one. But I just don’t want anyone to be disappointed as I am disappointing with seller’s poor thinking on designing this Jacket. Yes. I’m absolutely unhappy because I can not able to use my jacket’s pocket. Only last 5 days and totally tearing up now. Only few time I put my car keys inside. All gone now and repairing or putting another pocket with good materials can be very very expensive and I can’t afford to do that
