Controls don't work. Hazard lights wont turn off

Had this professionally installed. Sometimes the hazard lights stay on. Cannot be turned off with the button. Upon disconnecting the battery, they go off. But then the air conditioning controls are nonresponsive. Maybe the installed messed this up and it's not the product? Driving me crazy. Car now 1,500 miles from installer. So, in a predicament.
