The Cedar oil itself is high quality and smells great. Only issue is, my Cedar oil arrived leaking as others noted. The top of the box was full of oil stains. I may have lost 5-10%. The seal on the cap was intact, with the cap itself only slightly loose, but filled with oil inside once opened. It seems the cap just does not seal properly and, since the product is almost always ship on its side, thus the mess. Hope this review helps Ethereal/customers.

Just wanted to comment a bit on this product after spending too much time looking for essential cedar oil with little success. I read l lot of the customer reviews on this product and was completely aware of the problems with the product "leaking". Well, we got ours in and the good news is that the oil itself if very good. It's got a strong cedar scent and will work very well for our intended use. The bad news is that the bottle, while excellently delivered in a cardboard box and not a padded envelope, was leaking. The small manufacturers box that the bottle actually came in was completely saturated with the oil. Upon inspection, we discovered the ratchet type seal that is actually part of the cap itself was completely broken and the cap was a bit loose. This resulted in the loss of about 10% of the product. While this is annoying to say the least, considering the trouble and time spent finding this oil, we decided to just keep the order. I only gave this product 4 stars because of the leaking issues. It really is very good cedar "essential oil".

Read that scorpions hate cedar wood essential oils. I live in AZ on the 2nd floor. Never had issues with them for a year. This 2nd year I been seeing them left and right. I grew up in Iowa so im like still totally freaked out by them. So I bought this to drop on the outline inside my home even on window sills & sliding doors. Every crack was sealed with this product. The cedar wood smelled lasted 4 days before it faded (I have a very strong sense of smell). For 2 months now no bugs!! I used to use something like this in the past and it would protect the house for up to 4-6months before having to go around the house and seal it again.

I choose to combine my orders to one shipping package and the oil bottle was out of its original box and it looked like someone went through package or just threw items in the Amazon box. Product still good thankfully and wasn’t broke. There wasn’t any bubble wrap or anything to prevent breakage.

Good but smells like synthetic oils not fresh

I grew with a grandma that knew everything. She used this stuff in the bathrooms, under the sink, in the drains, around the outlets, around the window screens and the bottom of doors leading outside. She said if you don't invite the pests in, they won't come in.

Spearmint is a healthy essential oil.

It smells like the a winter Sunday before finals week. That tired feeling, y'know, while the cars trying to unfreeze, its too on the snoot.
