Perfect fit. Bosch is the only way to go on a Land Rover.
If you are like me, you consider your budget every time a car needs maintenance and/or service. You want a good deal and typically shop around. I will tell you a universal truism about these oxygen sensors and Land Rovers. If you buy a cheaper brand, you will be buying again soon, if not immediately. Lots of cheaper O2 sensors are dead out of the box. If you don't have a diagnostic scanner, you will waste lots of time thinking you need to fix something else (because "the O2 sensor was just replaced"). Lots of the cheaper ones also require that you solder pins and hope the connection is clean and conducts properly. Just save yourself the headache and grab the Bosch O2 sensors. Another note: Land Rover Discovery Series 2s have 4 oxygen sensors, 1 before each of the 2 catalytic converters and an additional sensor behind each of the catalytic converters. The pre-catalyst sensors and post-catalyst sensors are different part numbers, so ensure you order the correct one. People typically recommend replacing the sensors in pairs (both pre-catalyst or both post-catalyst). Others suggest you will need to replace all 4 to effect a lasting repair. I had the same experience. I replaced one that was giving no signal, then 2 others were not switching properly. It isn't fun paying for all 4, but at least they should now all last for another 100k miles or so like the originals. Lastly, before buying an O2 sensor, make sure you actually need it. Just having an O2 code does not mean it is in need of replacement. But if you need them, buy Bosch.

Perfect Replacement...
I was getting an error code for a passenger side Oxygen Sensor (Post Cat) and have read that it's best to replace them in pairs. So I bought 2 of them (you won't find a better price anywhere!). You have 2 Pre Cat and then 2 Post Cat Oxygen Sensors (at least on my vehicle). Install wasn't too difficult on my 2002 Land Rover Discovery once you get how the pin works to disconnect from the wiring harness (be gentle as you definitely do not want to break anything - and the harness is just plastic). Driver's side was much, much easier than the passenger side to replace (just because of the location - much harder to reach and get a good grip on it). I sprayed both sensors down (old ones to help with getting them loose) with some liquid wrench and let it sit for just a bit (some say spray it the night before and let it really work for you, but I didn't think about doing it until I got under the truck to replace). I needed a little breaker bar to get one of them loose, but the other came loose with just some good ole' grunting. Oh yeah, sensors come with some stuff on the threads (not sure if it's an anti-seize type compound or a lock-tight type compound, but nothing else should be needed for the install). Saved me a ton of money doing the job myself with little effort (about an hour or so). Amazon comes through for me once again...

Perfect replacement part for 04' Discovery post cat
Box on door step when I got home. Waited hour to let rig cool. Popped out the old dead one(s) and wrestled with the harness a bit. Screwed the new units in... Viola, good bye check engine light. Got a V-8? You need two. One for each side. Slide under your vehicle to make sure that the exhaust pipes don't converge into one. Chances are that you will need two for any thing with more than a four cylinders.

Can't stress how great this one has been
Can't stress how great this one has been. It came with anti-seize already on and was a direct OE replacement. The price here is better than I've found on any other site and the shipping speed speed for this was great.Replacing this fixed my Disco running rich. I will definitely be buying these from Amazon in the future.

All failed in 6 months and Amazon does not honor the 1 year warranty required by Bosch.
I purchased these Bosch oxygen sensors in October 2019 and they failed by May 2020. These are supposed to be genuine parts. I first contacted Bosch directly and found out Amazon is required to handle the 1 year warranties on these product, per their contract with Bosch. I tried to do so online, but the system claims they are only warrantied for 30 days which is untrue. Amazon even shows the 1 year Bosch info sheet on their site with these products. There is simply no way to contact Amazon when seeking actual warranty help. There are much better online sources that honor warranties then Amazon.Someone please prove me wrong.
