very elegant and lightweight little head but it's hard to get the tightness exactly where you want it, even with the counterbalance spring, I have a lot of trouble getting it to move smoothly vertically up and down even though the panning feature is pretty good. Also hard to use it as a locked in regular tripod head because of this difficulty in precisely aiming it as it does not stay very stable as you are locking it down.

Very satisfied with this head. Movement and functions are smooth.

I like this head for the most part. The counter balance isn’t strong enough to balance an EOS R with a 100-400 zoom. That is disappointing. That’s what I mainly purchased it for. The pan setting is still way too tight when it is loosened all the way. Other than these issues it’s good for lighter setups. Maybe the pan will loosen up with a bit more use.
